I went 24/0 until the first set of leaves developed and then to 18/6 till flower... But what do I know...? I only grew auto's up to my current attempt.
I've heard so many different opinions I feel it's all trial and error at this point. Thanks for the advice tho!
You will here so many different opinions from everyone. One being any light after 18 hr is over load and not use by the plant. That being said I use 24 hr and have never ever had an issue but I haven't vegged under anything else either so I have no comparison but I like my results.
Vegging under CFLs you can get away with 24/0 no problem. I've had some strains veg faster under a mh on 18/6. I'm thinking its probably a strain thing.

What kind of seeds? Autos go 24/7 but regs I would do 18/6 till flowering then 12/12 Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
