Norcal organic grow

Discussion in 'Growing Organic Marijuana' started by everydayim, Oct 29, 2014.

  1. Welcome,  After some successful hydro grows we are switching for good to organic. I have spent time reading and learning all I can about growing organically and now I hope it will show. I'm in no way an expert on the matter and only a student who is constantly learning and applying.

Feel free to offer suggestions, opinions, or words of encouragement.

The 7 beans I will be working with:
    Ultimate Purple
    Hash Passion
    White Widow
    Mango
    Afghan Kush
    Purple Widow
    Jorges Diamonds #1

Im going to try the basic mix with slight modification. These are my particulars:
    1/3 Peat moss
    1/3 perlite
    1/3 EWC
    1 cup of dolomite lime

2.5 cups total of the following:
    Fish bone meal
    kelp meal
    alfalfa meal

and 4 cups of granite/marble dust

To that mix I will add bottled water and turn regularly for 3-4 weeks

Pics will posted later...Wish me luck

    First!

Ok. That is officially the first time I have ever done that. I'd say things sound pretty good. I'd for sure add some Neem cake meal for pest control. And pick up some ProTekt to add to your waterings for silicon.

Maybe hop over to Buildasoil.com and grab some powdered coconut water and aloe juice.

And read up on ACT's and SST's.

    Sent from somewhere over there.
    No, not there...over THERE.

  3. Thanks for the info. I have a lot of neem oil but from what I read about cake meal it is on my to get list.

  4. Get some crab meal. I would sub the lime for oyster shell powder personally.

  5. I got a shopping list just adding to it.
I lucked out on rock dust. Free granite and marble dust as much as I want.

  6. Thanks Prepper, I'm shopping tomorrow for oyster shell flour.
