I started this little guy for my buddy but it's starting to have a slight yellowing and a tiny rusty looking spot I really don't wanna lose her. Any help willl be awesome
I attached the photo. The soil was pro mix ultimate but I just transplanted her today into a fox farm ocean and light warrior mix and noticed the ph was super high around 8 with the pro mix. But any help on what happened in the first place will be great. Also temps around 70 degrees
this is before and after transplant its only been transplanted a few hours. now is the new damage an extension of what was happening or something new entirely. also the water is just plain water for now ph is 6.5
Did you get any water droplets on it and let it sit under the light? That soil looks damn pretty wet too... cannabis likes an airy moist soil for best root growth. It doesn't look bad, not much you could really do this early in it's life other than water with some molasses water (about 1 T/gal). The sugars in the molasses will feed any beneficial microbes and hopefully stimulate population growth and also provide a little cal mag boost. More microbes means more hospitable environment for nutrient uptake in the root zone. But definitely let it dry out a few days before you do that. EDIT: after looking at it I see the second pic is after a few hours so it dried out quickly... still good advice for anyone with seedlings... It isn't anything major this early.
Yes I did leave water on the leaves. And I agree it is too wet going to let it dry out. It has slightly new growth and look ok I hope she gets better. Thanks for the info I was worried I have lost a few this year being my first official go at it again. First time was dang spider mites from next door lol
If you got water in the leaves and let the sun hit it you could have burned the leaves. Also you could have nute burn. Fox Farm soil/hydro comes with nutes already in the soil, so it maybe to much for the little girl to handle right now. Most people that use FF start their seeds in the Happy Frog soil then transplant to Ocean Forest.
I heard the same thing about fox farm. I mixed in light warrior because it has less to non . once dried out I will water with plain water I'll take a update pic today for more opinions
Light warrior for anything that small. Ocean forest is too hot at that point. Also kinda looks wet Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
this is her now the new growth looks ok but the first true leaves are shot to hell what should i do ? also the light warrior in the container i have it mied with fox farm ocean chould i put it in just light warrior im afraid of transplanting again
