  1. Just back from a long time away! Good to see you guys again! Thanks for swinging by.

Just kicked off the new grow since my last grow with the Seeds from Afghanistan! I played with a NL Auto last grow and really got me turned on to autos so Im here to start my journey to MASTERING THE AUTO's!

    Quick overview:

Growing Auto's: 1 Nirvana Seeds Bubblicious and 1 Bomb Seeds Berry Bomb
    3 gal air pots
    4X2X5 Xen-Lux Growtent
    600W MH/HPS in cooltube
Using all Canna line this time (foxfarm last time)
    Canna coco
    Canna coco A and B
    Pk13/14
    Canna boost
    Rhizo
Also have some CalMag incase the tap water doesn't cut it.

Started seeds in paper towels. Had 1" roots in 2 days. Planted directly into 3 gal air pots with 100% canna coco. Seeds popped out and broke ground in 24 hrs. Placed them under 1 45W cfl each. Today 24 hrs after breaking ground they are over 1" tall. In a week or so Ill move them under the MH and keep the light up high to start.

  2. I'm using tap water. Bubbling with airstones for 24 hrs minimum before using. And just gave seedling a small dose of Rhizo with their tap water last night. Just a few drops Rhizo in a 16oz cup of water, Ph'd to 5.7. I wet them both down nicely and they LOVED it.

Ill stick to water every couple days until roots are developed a bit and then I plan on watering once a day. I really got a good feel for feeding every day or every other day last grow so Ill stick to it. I'll be running nutes at 1/4 strength for quite some time. Ive read a lot of about the dosing on the canna coco nutes being a bit strong. Playing it safe here.

Name of the game is a "stress free" life un-plagued by over-ferting, defoliating, HST or topping. Im going and stress free as possible for these auto's as an experiment. Maybe a bit of LST and minimal defoliating (only large fan leaves covering bud sites) at start of flowering.

  3. any pics mate ?

  4. These pics are the day after the water and rhizo. They are about 1 1/4 inch tall. image.jpg image.jpg

  5. nice cant wait to see these girls when there bigger give my link a look at im a frist timer smoke on fellow stoner

  6. Girls went into the tent under the 600w hps. But I dimmed it down to 75% and their about 20" from cool tube.

I've got two humidifiers and 3 fans in there keeping it a nice happy 72 degrees and 78% RH at plant level.

also I'm working on the drip system on a timer for automated watering once a day using black holes drippers. Awesome emitters of u haven't checked them out...do so.

  8. How old were they in those pics?

  9. About 3 days old there.

  10. I just switched my hps out for my MH bulb because I rly feel they grow best on MH for first few weeks. Brought temps down about 5 deg too.

  11. I've always been interested in those bubblicious plants. I need to get my hands on some regular seeds.

    Good luck op!

  12. Thanks man. I've been sticking to herbies for my seeds. They NEVER disappoint. Always good stuff and fast shipping.

  14. Babies are a officially a week old and lovin it. Definitely a difference in root development starting in a 3 gal pot as opposed to starting in a Dixie cup. But no transplant = happy autos.

  15. Alright good morning girls. Today is day 9 since breaking ground. Lights came on and I notice humidity was LOW. forgot to refill humidifiers.

Anyways I watered with 1/4 strength nutes this morning. Shallow watering no runoff. They just looked like they were hungry. So I snapped a shot to compare how much they perk up, grow or change in the next day or so from first feeding.

  16. Quick shot of the NL auto from last grow. This was one of the 8 tops. Dried and cured 3 months. Not a bad turn out from a butchered grow attempt. 17. I'll be sitting in for this one!

  18. I think it's safe to say they appreciated the feeding on day 7. Better color and next set of leaves exploded. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1415218668.254633.jpg

Those feeders are 4" in diameter. In case you want to scale them to something for size.
