I have been suffering from terrible back pain for nearly a decade after an accident. I'm otherwise young, athletic, and energetic. I've been through a spinal fusion surgery without results. I always resisted pain meds but the docs prescribed them to me after the surgery and I absolutely hate them. I know they are terrible for my body and so I am looking for an alternative. I've tried the topical ointment made from weed stems and leaves and it actually seems to help a good bit. It does smell pretty strong so not an option for application at my day job. I've tried smoking, eating, and vap'ing regular pot but it puts me to sleep or makes me feel uncomfortable. I'd really like to try the high-CBC, low-THC strains to see if they might help with my pain management. At the very least, even if smoking doesn't help I could turn the plant into the topical ointment, so I'm looking for a clone that is relatively low-THC and high-CBD. I've called around to every shop in town and they tell me that they don't carry those strains, but advised that the best place to find them is via Craigslist or online in exchange for a donation. I've had a couple people so far who might prove to be promising sources of such a strain, but nothing certain yet, so I'm posting here with the hope that someone might have some clones available now to share in or near Denver. Google it and you'll find some strains and most probably an online seedbank that has some of those strains that will send you seeds to your door.
Greenwerkz in Edgewater has a strain called R4. Karmaceuticals sells clones of a couple different high CBD strains.
