    Specs:
150 Watt Trulite full spectrum LED
200ish CFM 4" inline exhaust fan with carbon filter and a speed control dial.
Fox Farm Ocean Forest potting soil
    RO water
    FF Grow Big veg nute
    FF Tiger Bloom flower nute
    WxLxH 36"x24"x40" Armoire
I have five 26 day old viable seedlings with room to crowdedly flower three under a scrog net that I haven't built yet. Oh, and one freak plant that looked completely different than the rest. I know I didn't want to flower it, so I stripped it down to the second node, just to see if it'll come back. Premature mainlining. We 'll see, it's just an experiment.

    Current Status/Plan:
I've topped after the third node and lolly pop'd everything below the first true node and everything else came back strong. I didn't know how early I could do this, but it seems to be working so far. I'm gonna let it all grow out, top everything once more, let that grow out, super crop everything level and lay down the scrog net and flip the switch. I'm not positive when the best time to chose the two or three (I might be too ambitious flowering three) to flower. These seeds came from a grower that plays with genetics. At least three of them are supposedly fem'd Space Dawg. The other two being a strain he called Snapletons, also supposedly fem'd.
Do I wait until see pre flowers? Or do I pick the best looking three and get them into their final pots and start the training? I'm leaning towards the latter. The only tragedy that could happen is if all three turned out male.
I'll post a few pics from the last three weeks. Any questions, suggestions, comments, knowledge, experiences are welcome. I'll be updating once or twice a week, depending on the feedback activity. I love this plant.

The messy cabinet the day I put the beans in the soil.

like I was saying over at HF's place, I'm not good on giving advice or all that knowledgeable but I don't mind following, reading and learning. I just grow weed in dirt, I've had a few outside plants and clone buds in their 7-8 week flowering stage, and so on and and so on. (lol)  -   Are you going to have a photo gallery, or just post pictures in your journal?
    ;-)

Here's a shot to bump my thread. Tomorrow they all get detailed shots in the window light and you guys are gonna help me pick the three to flower! Sound good?

  4. I took a few pictures today! They got their second feeding of the FF Grow Big yesterday. I think I'm leaning more towards keeping them in #1 pots until I sex them and pot up the three best females. I can't veg them for too much longer. I figure veg them for another two to three weeks, or until they're 12-16" tall, then super crop them and allow for recovery before flipping to flower.

    Here they are.

    #1This topping sprouted 4 tops!

  5. Nice...when you get 4 tops like that its usually called fim. Fuck i missed and it works out great! !! Looking fantastic up in here! !!

  6. Good morning, Blades! I opened my cab this morning, and it looked like this. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1414507002.298634.jpg
So I did some more lolly popping on certain lowers and FIMing certain tops. I'm just playing with different levels and mixtures of FIMing, topping, and lolly popping to see the the plants react and what's going to train better in my small space. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1414507087.522678.jpg
Then since it's getting crowded at the bottom of my basin, I put two 5 gallon buckets in it to support a chuck of wood as a table top.

I'm not sure how they'll like being this close to the LED. Heat is definitely not an issue. It's been 50 degree highs outside lately. Plenty of cool air! Cab stays at 75 during lights on and gets to 60 at lights off with rh between 40 and 60. What I'm wondering is if the intensity is going to be a problem? I mean it's just a 150 watt LED, right? I'll keep checking on them through the day to make sure temps stay the same like this and that there aren't any other changes. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1414507571.381965.jpg
    Peace :smokin:

  7. Thanks!

  8. Everything looks in place and tidy in your little space! Those are some intense photos - Not so long ago I questioned "what's up with the purple lights?" I recently learned it was from LED lights. I'm still using CFL's so I don't have much input. I know, from what others say and what I've read, that LEDs are the way to go. I'm hoping to do the switch soon. :smoke:

  9. I wasn't sure if I was going to water them this morning, but I felt how light the pots were at 3pm today and had to water them half way through the light cycle. Usually I like to water in the first hour of light, but oh well. They were thirsty! Besides that, all there's to do is take pictures.
    36 hours of bushy growth!

  10. I got bored and built my scrog net. I have some rearranging to do before I put it in. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1414698001.449745.jpg

  11. Here's one of the sexy quad tops!

  12. Here's a question for anyone stopping in. What's a good solution to pH problems in soil? My pH hangs around 7 and I'd like to get that lower. I have older fan leaves curling, and I'm not sure if it's from the fan being too intense in spots, or my pH.

  13. How are you measuring the PH? If it's too alkaline, add some tea, I believe it is slightly acidic just like bottled nutes.

  15. Transplant always works for me. Not sure if that is an option for you though.

  16. I don't understand. One if us is too high.

  17. When i run into soil ph issues i typically transplant the plants into a bigger pot with fresh soil or medium.....
