Have you ever got a call from these guys? They're Indian and they say that there's a virus on my computer and they're part of Microsoft, and when they gave me a link of the website I could tell it was a scam it was something like comantra.net/microsoft. And microsoft doesn't call their customers. But I played along. They had me run all these fake virus scans from their website, saying there was hacker's infiltrating my computer, even though it's brand new L0L. In the end they just wanted me to buy their expensive support package that I don't need. Fuck these guys.

  2. That wasn't Microsoft that called you. Thread title is misleading.

Yeah I know, I only put that because they claimed to be from microsoft(and I guess they actually had a partnership with them but lost it), sorry about that.

  4. Been called repeatedly by these guys
    and those fake IRS agents.

We just hang up on them now.

  5. Lol I kinda want to mess with them if they call again, like call them out on their BS and see how they react.

  6.
My buddy had one of these calls, he asked them how Microsoft knew he had a problem when he runs Linux :bongin:

Haha my friend got a call from these guys and he runs OS X, and hasn't owned a computer with windows in his entire life. I think I'll run a new VM of windows and have them tell me there's a virus on it.

  8. yea theres another scam that pops up a phone number on the pc for the user to call.. saves the scammers a phonecall.   Alllot of this going around right now... ive seen that IRS shit too, it actually says IRS on the caller ID, and then you answer and its a robocall that says its important for you to call a number.. when you do, it prompts for your ss# or something.

Ive had one of these fucks actually call me at work, where Im fixing pc's.. its like which computer are your referring too, fuckhead.. theyre all fucked here...  they just hangup if you challenge them obviously.

SO many scammers call me at work, alot of telemarketing bullshit, asking to talk to the owner, or saying i NEED to talk to the owner..telling me what they need before they even say who they are, its just supposed to be a mindfuck for idiots.   Im taking the fight to them now.. i used to beg and plead, and politely request-- stop calling.   Id keep track of all the spoofed numbers and use that as ammo when begging them. Id press 1 and say "I pressed 2 to be removed from the list 4 months ago, and youre calling again, could you stop?"

One of them told me take all the cocks out of my mouth and hung up, the little coward, so now what I do is pretend to be interested, and give fake names, etc, just to waste their time as they waste mine.  The other day I let this girl pitch a vacation package thing for like 5 minutes, and then i asked her to repeat all that.  lol shit like that.

Tell them you are close to someone who works for the FBI and that you have brought them to his/her attention.

If you have the time, troll them with a soundboard or a line-in input (where the headset would be plugged in) with a recording of a train-horn or a baby screeching like its being circumcised by Edward Scissorhands.
