So this will be my first attempt at taking care of a mother plant and pulling clones for a perpetual SOG. First things first my goal is to get cloning down to the point whete I have more success than failure all the while taking care of a mother plant. My mother plant will reside in a 2'x4'x5' tent and will have a 180 watt Apollo Horticulture LED UFO light. I dont plan on letting her get too big before she is replaced by a clone. She will be started off in a Dixie cup, hempy bucket style, until she is ready for a 1 gallon and eventually a 5 gallon bucket hempy! The clones will be set in an aeroponic cloner of some sort (will ask opinions and hear reviews hopefully of a few good choices). After spending a little time next to the plant out of the direct light of the LED (will be on the other side) the clones will be going under a 4'x4'x7' flower tent under a single 600 watt HPS bulb from Apollo Horticulture. Tonight is the first night I decided to pop the seeds in a cup of water till I wake up in the morning and then it will be set in a damp papertowell in a Ziploc container until a taproot shows and will be transferred into a rockwool cube and left under a dome until the third node appears and then under the LED. I plan on keeping the led about 18" until the fifth node. At the fifth node I plan on topping and then going on from there! Well this morning I transferred the seed to a damp paper towel in a ziploc container. Now we wait for a root!
A lot has changed lately! My iced widow is growing pretty well and I have also added a blue dream and an auto big gun! I also have a strong growing bagseed which has taken well to fim and topping! Here are some pics! My iced widow is the medium sized plant. Bagseed is the biggest and blue dream is the second smallest while the auto is the youngest of the all.
Well so much has changed.. my grow is really taking off! The random bagseed im giving away but my blue dream, auto big gun and iced widow are looking great! First is iced widow, second is blue dream (which im aware is root bound), and the last is auto big gun
It didnt turn out bad, but I wasn't happy woth it either. I had to move and all that. It produced good for what it went through. Definitely recommended
