New smokers?

    I've seen a lot of newbies recently that post about how they've only smoked up a few times.

    What's up with people getting involved with the forum so quickly. Not that I'm complaining, it's actually awesome.

    But if you're new and just started smoking, who introduced you GC?

    I searched strains in the past for photos to see if my bud looked the same. and to look at bongs=)

    I found the site while looking for pipes and came across the forum, all the threads have been very informative and it seems most of the time people get very good answers to all questions and everyone seems to be respectful (other than the occasional smart ass) and understanding that not everyone knows it all about this stuff. It makes asking questions easier not having to worry about getting bashed on for not knowing things others would consider common sense.

    I'd say most people google something looking for knowledge and GC is one of the first links that pops up (that's how I found it anyway). They start browsing and then realize it's a pretty cool community

    whenever i try a new substance (mj for guideline purposes) i try to find out all i can about the substance.
    as i did- first timers usually are with an experienced user. they want to not be so out of place, quoting mcgruff the crimedog may bring looks of animosity.
    as said a large community offers a lot of guidance and diversity. hoping that someone has had the same questions and have answered them in the time they have  smoked.
