Can I use these nutrients veg

  1. Hey GC,

I have a 5 week vegging plant that I got a week ago. It's recovering from heat stress from the previous owner. I bought some bushdoctors comeback formula which is 2% nitrogen and has a bunch of other good stuff. It only has .2 %P and .3 %K so I figured I'm not feeding my plant correctly.
I have some general hydroponics bloom plant food. It has 2 %N 4 P % and 4% K. I'm going to post pictures of all of the labels/ bottles. Can I use these two products in combination to give my plant everything it needs for veg? I don't want to over feed and burn my plants so how much / often should I do this? Thanks! 2. Btw I'm in foxfarm ocean forest soil but sadly my giant ceramic pot doesn't drain that well (only has one half-dollar-sized hole)

  3. I posted this in organic because I figured you organic guys understand nutrients very well. Let me know if there's somewhere better to post

  5. Yeah we organics guys don't use bottled nutes brotha, we use soil amendments to feed our microbes not our plants. Healthy soil equals happy plants equals HQM (high quality meds).

  6. I think whats trying to be said is that for the most part around this forum we mix our own soil blends from scratch and dont rely on bottled nutrients so you may not get the response you're looking for here. You *may* have better luck in the Indoor forum - not sure. While you're here you should take a little time, poke around and do some reading. Us organic gardeners don't have to go spend money at the Hydro store on those bottles and we get to use our soil over and over again - just for starters. We also don't need to be constantly checking/adjusting pH, flush or any of that pain in the neck stuff.

Just in case you're interested, here's a good place to start. Best of luck in your garden.
