Will there be another war?

Discussion in 'Politics' started by yurigadaisukida, Oct 23, 2014.

  1. Great power wars can't happen as long as nuclear weapons exist, as the consequences are unthinkable. Proxy wars, however will continue, and that is how nation states will expand their power.

  2. A country with nukes has never been invaded and that won't change.

Everyone else better watch their back.

  3. War isn't going anywhere.

    It's a multi-billion dollar industry.

  4. we are always in a state of cold war

    warfare without firing weapons

    espionage, propaganda, cyber, etc...

we conduct missions without public knowledge

so long as there are humans, there will be war

  5. George carlin has humorous insight in war.

  6. War never ends until we end.

  7. Of course. There will be MANY more wars. Lol what kind of question is this?

i'm personally hoping for world war 3.

eventually it'll happen. or is happening, even.

i'm not from one of the big powers, i'm from a long forgotten region of the world.

so i think i'm on the side of watching the big powers duke it out.

it'll make our ascension that much easier.

eventually we'll bring war to the big powers regardless...and that'll likely be the tipping point for ww3.

if we ever do ascend, we'll disturb the power balances of the world..

realize..umm..that some aren't interested in keeping the peace

the power structure doesn't benefit us, so we're all in for war.

some of us have been at war lol

    i'm not b.obama..no..
    i'm just me!

  18. It's reading the bible and others reading theirs that got us into this mess in the first place lol

  19. There are many challenges and issues facing humanity. Within our live times our population on the planet is expected to reach anywhere from 10 billion to 20 depending on who you talk to. China is not even expected to level off population wise until about the 3.5 billion to 4 billion.

There is simply not enough food, water, resources to go around. Most countries especially the ones with Nuclear weapons realizes the full impact of a large scale nuclear exchange and everyone would a loser.

I think as far as you can go out this tiny planet is going to be hell to live in. Sky high prices on items in the future, strains on every thing from energy generation, food etc. When that happens you tend to have wars.

A propaganda war does not solve say China's resource issues they project in the future.

  20. Yes there will be another war, and another, and another. We are animals. And we fight to the retreat or the death.

Yuri, you seem to be a smart blade on your other posts. Frankly, I am a bit surprised you asked this question.
