Has anyone ever tried to trim dry buds by tumbling the shake off in a dryer with no heat? The buds would be dry but not cured, the leaves brittle. I know ppl talk about making hash by using a drum design with screening to catch trichomes as it turns, but since I'm just trying to bust shake off it seems like the holes in the dryer are already the right size. It would be a little better (and larger scale of course) than tumbling it in a jar, was my hope. My plan was to fill the drum about 2/3 full, and again, no heat, just tumbling around, mostly against itself, kinda like the tumbleweed trimmer but when the buds are dry instead of wet
And lose what percentage of trichs in the process? Doesn't sound smart but maybe that's just me... Sent from my SPH-L720T using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Really depends on what your end goal is... if you don't care about the quality of the smoke or maximizing profits, go for it, but it is a huge waste of valuable product. The hash I get from the trim is almost as valuable as the flowers.
LOL, the dryer blows air through to the vent then out side. Some lucky birds and insect will enjoy your months of hard work. I put this up as a dumb idea. All your hard work took some real intelligence. What made you consider this?
