How to get in the industry from a non med state

  1. Im here in a non-medical state where it has not even been decriminalized yet, but i am so into cannabis it feels like a lifestyle. It isnt even the felling it gives me. Its watching others enjoy it and benefit from it. The complexity of the plant is so fascinating to me there are endless things you can do with it. Im just tired of being surrounded by the ignorant people that think this plant that god put on earth is a drug. I want to get out there and explore the vast industry of it all and learn everything i possibly can. I have read so much over the past 4 years i feel like i barely ever come across new info on the web until something more recent is posted. I would really like to influence people where i live and make them understand all the great things it can do for you but I dont think it would work out very well because I am only 18 and they will think it is just another kid that likes to get high. But that is not the case. I have knowledge about cannabis from growing it, to cooking with it, and making hash. It is my passion to learn about it and really my overall goal is to end up helping people one day. Its what im best at. So if someone could help I would greatly appreciate some feedback..

  2. It is a drug.... ?

  3. You were a great help haha. Take your "fact" somewhere else. When these other HARSH drugs start treating cancer and other disorders let me know.

  4. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

  5. I mean sure you can call it a drug but it is the type of drug that is a medicine for people. There isnt another drug out there that does seriously helps someone's health and if that isnt fascinating to you i dont know what would be. Didnt mean to to seem hostile towards you but that is the one thing that grinds my gears, is when someone wants to compare it to another street drug. Thanks for the response though because im sure i wont get another on this. Im not giving up until i am helping people out in a big way.

  6. I didn't read, just going off the title, but if you want to stay legit, you just don't.  If you want to be a criminal, go for it.  I came from idaho and head shops would spring up every now and then, and then get shut down in less than a year.  You'll be painting a target on your back too no matter what you do, the industry is targeted by lazy ass cops who just want to bust peaceful people and write up a report instead of fight real crime.

The only thing you really can do legally is promote awareness and legalization.  Look into your local norml chapter to see where you could help out.

  7. Yeah i have a conservative governor and the bill was proposed for the ballet in 2016 but he shot it down saying we have more important things to focus on... but im not for the whole criminal thing even though that's pretty much what you have to do. I guess i will have to keep trying to raise awareness in my community.

  8. So much for giving the people a say...

  9. its just such great medicine for body and soul...
