Easy age tracking

  1. If you are like me, you probably keep track of your grow one way or another (if you don't you should!). I keep all my grow information (for everything in my garden) in a Google spreadsheet.

The other day I figured out you can easily keep track of the age of your plants with the the following formula. This probably works for Excel too.

V1 = germination date (make a column listing your germ dates for different plants and reference by cell)
TODAY() = exactly what you think it does, spits out the current date
D = Day (you need the quotes)

Just stick the above function into a cell and voila, instant update. No more counting and doing math or guestimating.
