    First grow 1 plant.
Im using 2 cfl 60W daylight 6500K and two soft white 2700 60w cfls with hanging lights.
    Regular household fan blowing through.
    Using Northern Lights strain.

Ill keep updated I started today hopefully im on the right track. Here are some pics please give me your opinions  if im doing something wrong. Main concern am I using enough lights and are they too far/close. Thanks and hope to read some advice.

Additionnal info -  Planning to start at 24-0 until it grows a few inches than go 18-6 or am I wrong than 12/12 during flowering?
    Seed is feminised.
I think light is 6 or 7 inches away from cup.
Soil is miracle grow 14-14-14 and was damp before seed was put in. How much and how many times a day should I water her.

     Updated pics below.

  2. Are those regular light bulbs? They're wrong spectrum if so. Regular bulbs are 2700k of weakness. Get some cfl with a high kelvin rating like 6500k or something. Preferably 40 actual watt or higher, don't go by the equivalent watts. Read read read and read some more......oh ya read something about growing

  3. And that soil is smoking hot, its going to burn the shit out of it. I have fox farms happy frog soil for my seedlings its npk rating is 0.30 - 0.05- 0.90. 14-14-14 would smoke a full grown plant. And there's no need to water everyday. Did you read anything about growing or are you just winging it. Lights 1st need to be the correct bulb, if u choose to use cfls they need to be as close as possible like 2 inches

  4. Damn so they will never grow with these i got 2 kinds sylvania decor globe 60 watts 120 volts daylight and sylvania ceiling fan bulb 40 watts soft white i taught those are cfls?

  5. We won't address the subway wrapper growing table and zip lock bag greenhouse

  6. sorry i meant 0.14-0.14-0.14 that too much

  7. eat healthy

with it until i find proper light i couldnt find anything that said cfl at canadian tire
and thanks brbfix for the info and i have 10 more in case i mess up

  9. Left one is for flower. The one on the right is kind of small but its the only box I had laying around. its for vegging. I only use them as supplemental lighting, I have a mh/hps light, but many people use CFLs only and do wonderful.

2700k for flowering.....6500k for veg......don't pay attention to the w equivalent see where it says uses only or energy used 40 watts.......that's what you pay attention to. I have some smaller ones but 40 watts or preferably higher is what you need to watch

  11. Is this a real post? Canadian tire? Wtf..... miracle grow soil has been known to kill Mary Jane. I wouldn't even start in regular Fox farm. Cfl light bulbs come in four packs at home depot Lowe's wal Mart k Mart cvs shop n save shaws osoco etc etc ... cut a large soda bottle in half 2 liter to use for humidity dome top. It's ghetto but better ghetto. Ditch the subway wrapper, trash bag white style would be better. Take the glass off light fixtures. Hopefully you have more seeds in case mg kills your girl. Did you buy seed or bag seed?

  12. I think the 40 watt cfl was like $7 maybe $8.....don't quote me on that but they're relatively cheap and last a long time. I have a much larger one and it was $20. Its in my tent with the lights out so I can't check the wattage. I think its 100 actual watts if I'm not mistaken

  13. By lad I assume you mean led. No I doubt that would do much either.

  14. 23w come in four packs for $10 a pack. Home depot always has them on special. Pick up a couple y splitters while you are there they are over in electrical by the switches and stuff. Screw one splitter into the other and than again and you take one light into four. Do it three time and you have 92w x 3 or 276w splitter are $3 3 packages of lights $30 total investment for 276w is $60 give or take. Seed starting soil $7 a bag real growing soil $20-30 will get you a couple 5 gallon containers. A home depot bucket $2.76 clip fan $15 outlet strip $10 timer $5-$25
In other words if you can't spend $100 you will fail. Spend cash smart buy right and don't double buy.

tmntgrower and brixfix i got fem northern lights 11 of them from canadianseedbank
and thanks for the help ill go buy different soil and and ditch the subway wrapper ill
check at walmart and home hardware i do have the 100$ and i realise my lights wont
cut it so ill buy the real cfl shown by brbfix.

also could my plant survive with just regular bulbs for just 1 day theyre half a day old got 2 40w and 4 60w and what are chances ill lose her to miracle grow?

ill fix my setup tomorrow and edit my main post to the improved grow space.

oh and my two lamps are not regular size socket there small is their adapter from small to big?
that would save me from buying new lamps.

  16. They do make adaptes depends what size the original is e17 e12 are the common size to adapt from. Amazon.com sells adaptes for sure home depot most likely carries them. They would be right by the supporters somewhere in home depot. If you don't buy Adapters buy the cheapest clamp lights you can find. Probably run you $28-30 for three. U r looking for the cord and plug basically which you could Eire one yourself but it's almost no cheaper buying the parts as just getting clamp lights.

  17. Take it easy on the new kid. Lol.

But he is right. If you want even DECENT bud you ought of get things straight. Miracle-Gro is a murderer, house lamps DONT work, and you need to do ALOT of reading. You know where to go? GrowWeedEasy.com. They have EVERYTHING needed for you to learn up on some techniques. And trust me, if you sell after grows like I, you make more money than you actually spend on a small scale CFL grow! Doing your homework will help before the plants sprout. Even come to me or brixfix if you need anything else. Or any other grower on here! We're all experienced enough to help. Lol. Sorry or the rant.

  18. And chances are you wot lose er to Miracle Gro if she's tiny.
