This will be my first grow! So help and advice are really appreciated!  :D
My goal is to produce a personal amount of bud to hold me between grows.  :smoking:

The last weeks I have worked on a PC growbox. If you would like to see a tutorial about building this growbox you can send me a request and I will make one for the DIY section.

PC case: Chieftec Dragon (522 x 205 x 473mm)

Seeds: 1 Royal Dwarf (Autoflower) and 1 Northern Light Automatic (Autoflower), both from Royal Queen Seeds.

Lights: 4 x 23W CFL 6500K (1450 lumen) and 4 x 23W CFL 2700K (1520 lumen)

Lightcycle: 18/6 from beginning to end

Soil: Got this from a friend, he said it's an organic lite soil mix.

Nutrients: There is a BioTab in the big pot. I bought the Biobizz Try-pack for indoor growing. It contains bio-bloom, bio-grow and top-max. Because this is my frist grow and I will grow autoflowers I'm not sure about using nutrients.

Ventilation: 1 cheap 120mm fan (with a sheet of carbon sponge) controlled by a fan controller. I will replace this fan with a decent one very soon. I'm also thinking about adding another extra exhaust fan.

I started germinating last week and I started counting the days since the first sprout popped above ground .   :hello:

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated!  :bongin:

4. looks great man...nice clean build. I swear it seems like the plants appreciate the hard work too...  :)

how did you mount the light sockets? Is that a piece of wood with magnets on the back?

Thanks bongsauce! I really hope they will appreciate it, will do anything to make them feel comfortable  :smoke:
Yes its a piece of wood with magnets on the back so I can change the position every moment. The magnets are very cheap, like 3 dollar for 10pcs from China. I also decided to add them to the mount box with electronics on the left so it will give me more space to move.

Thanks Simon! I'm following your thread, I really like how you sealed the case.  :metal:

Day 8:

Is that a new pair of leaves growing on both plants?  :confused_2:
Also update on the temps and the humidity:
- Bottom temp (intake) on 18C (64F) and 51% humidity.
- Top temp (exhaust) on 26C (79F) and 21% humidity.

8. Thanks yea I patched some of the big holes with metal then caulked every seem. Closed up it looks like a working computer with the working power supply I setup as a carbon filter. My power supply on top is only running my fans.

I been struggling keeping my lights up I may have to try your idea out.

9. Where did you find those thermometers?

10.
I searched for "LCD thermometer humidity meter" on eBay, it was $3.50 include worldwide shipping. Just be sure you buy one with a external probe so you can measure inside and read the values outside the box.

11. that is a nice little set up you have man :smoke:  , can i ask what is the box called that you wired your lights too and how much you paid for it?

Thanks man!  :smoke:
Its a waterproof electronic project box/enclosure case, the dimensions are: 115x90x55mm. It was $3.50 on eBay.

that's a clever little idea thanks for messaging me the links i could do  with waterproofing because there is so much condensation in my box that there is water up the sides and base of the box lol  :D .

can i ask what powers it all? does it go from there to a plug in the wall? or is there some sort of power adapter or something else?

14.
My fan is going to a 12V adapter plug.
The lights are wired directly to a plug in the wall without adapter (but with a digital timer).

15. Sweet that a killer deal!!

It really is!  :metal:

Day 9:
Its getting colder here now, so my night temps are slightly dropping. Is 16-18 C (63F) fine at night?
Also in the last picture: Ona Block Pro (odor control), BioTabs and some samples with PowderFeeding Short Flowering.

17. 63 F is a little cold, I would make sure it didn't go below that. Growth is stunted below 60 F

18. Although I respect your awnser, I'm not sure I 100% agree. I've had a plant growing in 30 Fahrenheit without any damage during night cycles but it's obviously not ideal conditions ...

''When temperatures drop below 60F (15C) during the dark period plant growth slows and yields suffer'' -Ed Rosenthal
I based my comment of facts, it might not 'damage' them but it sure does slow down growth. Which is what I thought I said in the first place
