Are You Free of the Political False Dichotomy?

  1. I thought about that and decided if a 3rd party candidate could possibly get 30% I'd feel comfortable enough to give him my vote, maybe 25%.  I don't vote based on who may win but never on someone who can't possibly win....well, I did when Bob Dole was running.  I saw no lesser of two evils in the Repubs or Dems so as long as I had no preference I decided to throw it away at the Libertarian, my preferred party even though it was Harry Brown.  I admit it made me feel a bit better about voting that year.  I also hope a good 3rd party candidate will come along and capture the public's interest.

I understand where you (Cactus Ed) are coming from, I just hope you suppprt a greater good, if you will, before its popular. Even if you cant give them your vote, I hope you are able to voice your values and views to others. I think spreading principles and truth is far more powerful than a vote.
