its not blank, it shows some from a few days ago(some are stacked notifications from the same thread) but no new ones have really popped up in days. tried unfollowing and signing out, but neither worked.
Is there a fix to this? I see I have new notifications, but the drop down list doesn't list what's new. I can find new notifications by clicking the link in the drop down list. Is there a setting that needs to be switched?
it's a known problem from my understanding the mods are working on it i think there is going to be a site update soonish it will probably get fixed with that
I've been having issues with the notifications as well. At first there were numbers beside my followed threads, I heard those are supposed to represent the number of posts since you last checked but they didn't reflect that. Now notifications simply don't show in the drop-down list and I have to go to view all notifications to see anything. Hopefully this will be fixed soon/with the upcoming major update.
yea I have the numbers as well, I figured it was stacking, but I had not heard of any updates before it happened.
Also the notifications on the mobile app don't work anymore as well. At least on my phone they don't. I'v re-installed the app; checked all boxes for sending notifications on the desktop site and they still don't send properly. I'll get notifications for only a couple threads i'm subbed to but no others.
I've had to go through and delete all my notifications after I get through them. it sucks but until they bother to even reply in here, its all I can do.
no but you should start seeing them again, they still stack, but if you delete it every time it will be fine. go into see all notifications, they each have a box on the right, check all of them, then scroll down to delete. its still a pain in the ass, but since mods have apparently abandoned us, its all we can do.
Not abandoned, it's just that there's simply nothing we can do about it... You guys need tech, not mods...and they've been pretty busy lately dealing with upcoming upgrades for both the forums and the shop... I've had no problems with my notifications, but in the past, when I have, I find that clearing a few pages of them daily helped a lok...
If you are having issues with Notfications tab , please delete couple your old ones. The blank happens when your limit for incoming notifications is filled up and system cleanup didn't start.
