Moldy canna oil?

Discussion in 'Weed Edibles' started by Tweeters, Oct 17, 2014.

  1. So I made some canna oil using coconut oil with the oven method this morning, (325 for 30 min.) and it seemed to go alright, I've made oil a few times before with a frying pan and it was always green, this time it was brown. I don't think that's the issue though, I strained the oil into a ziploc container and went back to take some about 8 hours later and it looked like this:

It seems to be mold, there was a decent amount of oil that was still liquidy that I just strained out, I took some about a half hour ago, too early to say how strong the high will be but I'll update. It smells funny, sweet is the best way I could describe it but not in a good way. It's possible some water would have gotten into the oil but would that make it turn like this? But basically what I'd like to know is can I still ingest this? Or could I reheat it or something to make it edible? Thanks

  2. i would not eat that
