  1. Some highlights of my last section of the AT.
Vermont. 10 days. 160 miles. Peak foliage season.
    Enjoy.

  2. Have you done the entire AT?

Did you happen to see this near Lemon Gap on the NC/TN border?  Yeah, I did it but, I'm a veteran and the Gov't screwed me up.  Nothing I do is my fault. :ey:

  3. Dude that is awesome! The trail this time of year is so freekin colorful! The pic where you have the tent pitched is in the middle of a poision oak patch BTW. Be careful.

  4. No, I have only completed 40%.
Rockfish Gap in VA to Hanover NH.

People who do graffiti on the trail suck.

    They really bring it down.

That's you I guess. The gov't effed you huh?
Deal with it. I'm black. The gov't has been effin my family for generations.

  5. Yeah, I don't get that stuff or poison ivy.
    It's under an apple tree.

  6. Awwww.  Poor thing.

Nah that's you. Complaining about the govt and taking it out on a sign.
Go write your complaints on the Capitol or on the White House.

The AT isn't the govts trail. It's the people's trail.
Cared for by public donations and volunteers who put a great deal of time into making it a place for all Americans to enjoy.
Like I am doing on the 25th.

Your little stupid childish drawing is a disgrace.

I wont reply to you anymore because you my friend are an idiot.

It was a joke you punk.

The sign is un-natural.  Didn't harm anything.

    Thought I heard something.
    Nope.
    Just air.

  10. The purple leaves of three in the foreground looks like poison oak.

  11. And you calls others an idiot. The president we currently have is the very reason why Rosa Parks would not give up her seat on the bus. Welcome to the new millinium

  12. Yes, anybody who vandalizes the AT to me is an idiot.
As for your politics views...I honestly could care less. How you tie Rosa Parks to President Obama is unclear. This isn't the politics page.

  13. She would not give her seat up on the bus because she knew in her heart that The same African American that is told to sit in the back has the very right to be elected as president. And knowing what "all men are created equal" means in our declaration of independence, she fought back with principle.

  14. Totally don't know what that has to do with what I said. And you are taking my text out of context as it was a reply to somebody complaining about the govt screwing them over.
    But okay.

And so you know, Rosa Parks was put there on purpose.
And blacks weren't included in the Declaration.

Still confused about the Obama reference.

So I guess you're trying to make some point in regards to race? Not clear.
And yes, anybody who does graffiti on the AT is an idiot. Which was my point.
But you obviously have some other stuff to get off your chest.

I totally don't follow what you're saying. And I'm really not trying to have some online debate.
    Hijack another thread.

  15. How this went from a loser drawing on an AT sign to Rosa Parks is unclear.
    This isn't the political forum.

  16. Back to the original subject......

    Beautiful!
I just became aware of the AT about 10 years ago. Always wanted to do it. But it's over there and I'm over here and a few structural problem in the back probably will keep that from happening. So you're charged with adventuring for me.
    Have fun.
    Kill a bear.
    Make some clothes.
And that'll be good for me.
Post more pics as you go!

  17. Make some clothes haha...hilarious

I just found out about it a year ago. Duh. I was researching how to live off the grid. Kinda nice to leave this world for a bit.
You can do it still. I have back problems. I do ultralight backpacking. I'm about 19 lbs. That's nothing compared to the 50 lb. pack I started out with!
