Believe it or not the vast majority of AKs are imported and bought by Americans...kinda like Cuban cigars. Already American gun makers are gearing up to fill the void with various designs.

Its interesting to how the Russians are moving towards smaller caliber designs where as in the  US the push is for larger.

Just because it wasn't supposed to accomplish anything, doesn't mean that it didn't. This is a violation of the second amendment.

  11. There are bigger fish to fry in this world than worrying about ak 47's.

  12.
Alot of fish can be fried with a 7.62x39

  13. It's alright guys give it a few months and you'll be able to print one, god bless America!

  14.
No need we got something better. Defense Distributed has created a table top CNC machine for 1200 bucks. There actually sold out now. Plug in the computer download the Open Source gun plans insert milling material and in a few hours later you have your gun.

The ATF fully allows the creation of lower receivers with serial numbers if your not selling them. Just buy the upper which requires no paperwork as the ATF defines a gun assembled...separated it is not a gun and not regulated.

The other great thing is banning a CNC machine is impossible...there everywhere. You will also get a ready to shoot, hyper precise gun from this vice a 3D printer which uses ABS plastic that is brittle. Suck it anti gunites!

  15. Yeah I was reading a bit on the machine this morning, but it only makes one type of receiver that wouldn't fit a AK that's why I said give it a few months. Crazy invention tho gunna be a lot of unsolved murders cropping up if criminals jump on this.

  16. just 2 more years of this crap

Not really a invention. He took what is already available out there already and put it all in one package. Digital plans for guns are already available usually for free actually much like round designs. The international organization that governs bullet designs can provide you with designs to all of that crap.

You are right though since they already sold out no telling how many people want to buy it and if theres a market he will make it bigger and better.

The only way to stop it as the technology is there is to simply ban the design but the ATF allows you to create a lower. People never look into things and they speak in wide general terms on topics they do not know but the ATF who regulates all this has actual definitions for all of it since its regulated. Take AR-15s. A rifle is only a rifle if it has a buttstock. Remove the butt stock and its a pistol. Which is why AR-15 pistols are all the craze this year. You get a short barrel rifle essentially without any of the paperwork since its a pistol in the eyes of the government.

Oh the above comment by myself goes to show you how even simple regulation by any government organization solves nothing and people find a way around it.

    No it's not.

Just cause you have the right to bear arms doesn't mean you have the right to buy every gun available worldwide.

This is an economic decision not a constitutional rights decision.

It's your right to bear arms. Not own an AK.
