i recently just got rid of my 4x4 tent and upgraded to a 4x8 with at the moment 2 600 watters with one on stand by as the plants go into flower. I have the ballasts dimmed to 75% so 450 watts a piece. I have 10 blue clones in 5 gallon home made dwc buckets. For now just one air stone in each bucket with general hydro dry powder grow nutes and also general hydro subculture-m to help with the roots. The clones are 20" now and I just topped them a couple days ago, the clones were already 18" when I got them and I got a good deal so I couldn't pass em up and it cuts down on some growing time. Anyone know how much this strain stretches? It's my first time growing a sativa in my tent, kinda nervous as I only have 7 feet of growing space, well 5 after the bucket and light take up space.
Its not worth growing 5 foot plants, all the light is good for is the top two feet so 3 feet goes into the trash can and waste time. I would quit fucking around and turn the dimmer on 100% too. My hydro plants are sativa clones too. They are being short and bushy with no work from me.
I was going to top them 3/4 times and up cut about a 1/4 of the plant to try to maximize what I can get. i think next week I'll crank em up to 100%. I have the light about 12" above them to try and get em to grow out and bushier rather than tall and lanky. You got quite lucky with them being bushy all on their own? Is it pure sativa or a hybrid?
Today is day 10 I believe of veg and these girls sure are growing. Their roots are taking off and into the bucket. They're just about at 2ft so I'm think another week if that and than flip em to 12/12. Does blue dream double when flipped to 12/12 or is it triple like some sativas?
I cranked em all the way up today so that should get em growing quickly. I have another 600 that I'm gonna throw in after a week or two of 12/12. All plants were topped a couple days ago and got two nice new shoots off of each one so prob another 4/5 days and I'm flipping. Oh and today is day 9 of veg. I thought yesterday was day 10 but I forgot the day I got em and they were already big clones when I got them
7 out of the 10 girls just hit 27/28" and the other 3 are around 24/25". I'm gonna do a res change tonight and flip em so they don't get too out of control after their stretch. I'll post some pics after I switch ecerythibg out. Time to medicate and play with some plants.
Got the bulbs changed out and res's changed but was running super low on bloom so I had to mix up grow and bloom nutes but I figured since it's the transition it shouldn't matter too much than after 10ish days I'll get more bloom nutes and change over 100%. Here are some pics from tonight.

Day 15 of 12/12 and the tallest girl just hit 55", they're getting a bit too big but half arent bad. I added another 600 watt light but have it at 75%, it's a mh so the blue will hopefully really kick in some killer crystals.
