    Respect.

A post delivered with science and without insults.

Edit. Ive actually unsubbed from this thread. Not really competitive by any means and dont really care what anyone thinks about my light. Really glad im lucky enough to have one though. I think my results speak volumes. But its clear to me now that few can afford this technology and those who cant seem bitter about it. To me bitterness is amplified self pity.

I created this thread to get people's opinion on the light they use and why. I was hoping it would help me get information to make an informed decision before i purchased something within my limited budget.

Unfortunately me posting something as simple as, "im gonna stay loyal to a brand" resulted in a "mine is better than yours" scenario.
Thats a big time turn off for me.

I come to grasscity to share the happy parts of my life, not to debate with aggressive people. So i appreciate the way you handled your response, but i found what i need for me, so this thread is no more use.

    Enjoy your debate guys!

  4. Here's some pics of different spectrum I ran in the last 7 years starting with the BS 440/630 and 460/660 crap that was supposed to beat HID performance at 80% less electricity.  Then on Blackdogs, HGL, GLH, Stealth, and then the direct factory stuff when I started into spectrum testing with CT, Cidly, GEHL, and LG(sara).

Here's a letter from Corey, the owner of Blackdog apologizing for the delay of my two 700s back in the summer of 2010.  Been playing with alot of these things in the last 7 yrs, so I've seen and experienced my fair share of BS. [IMG]

Im sorry for not getting back to you last night. The shipping date is going to be the 18th. I can try to get yours out sooner if possible, as they should be done first, but worst case will be the 18th.

I appreciate you being so understanding and would like to take off $50 for the hassle.

Give me a call if there is anything else I can do.

    Thanks,
    Corey

again the question please Bradas don't give the politician answer. why does the amare light focus so much energy on the green and yellow portions of the spectrum? I dont care about what you have done can you please stop avoiding the question and give a scientific reason?

bsless you are a light scientist? you worked in spectrum studies with all those companies wow brada how come you say the hps with the 600 nm peak is the benchmark? I done a little study on my own maybe not all scientific like you and the big labs yeah. you must be the guy who is going to answer the question no problem then yeah?

Second that, sir!  I've seen and tested my fair share of crap and good products and the truth's, the truth. Convenient or not.  It's the BS that gets me:)  Good luck with your favorite panel(s), and let's go grow some tweed![IMG]

    Impressive donk there, sir!

  9. Its the BS that gets me too :)

Like I said no need to continue this conversation....  I know what they can do. If the competition wants to know whats in the light have them buy one. You are happy with what you got I am happy with what I got...  No need to discuss it further.

  11. what pseudoscience got your tongue :) lol

  12. Hey poke I love what u do with the 650 but when I saw I guy I trust n respect buy 2 eclipse 350 it made me wanna see what they do but u have that thing on lock all day long poke n that's why ur thread is jumping but like I said if those amare panels don't show me sumthing like sun then I'll just grab the xml350

  13. Sorry Poke you asked a question we gave you an answer. Many of us got burned in the past. Cost + Efficiency = Value. Look at the bright shiny bobble we can sell them. So what if we mark it up 200 - 300% ... I guess I am not a lemming... Hope all your grows are successful  PEACE!

  14. I already provided a link to the latest research. Here is another study....

It's not BS if it works.  I went into my background; otherwise you would  say he's full of BS.  Sorry, in the spririt of my name I felt obligated to do so to avoid more nonsense.

I will not tell you the scientific reason, because I'm not a scientist nor went to school to be a LED light spectrum specialist.  Just a grower that's tired of the BS marketing and spin tactics in the name of business will hang us growers out to dry.  Let's just say, I've had a lot of free time in the last couple of decades to test a lot of these BS theories, psuedo-science nonsense and myths including HID's and Floros.

The other reason is I've invested a lot of time and resources in the last 7 yrs into R/D and be damn if I help educate those who will exploit the info to rip consumers off, while claiming it's theirs.  If you want to know, do what I did, forget what ppl say and invest the time and resources to test your logic vs. others' "BS".

How can you even doubt the other growers and I who have first-hand grow experiences with the Solarspecs when you have never even used a well tuned, white spectrum, high-intensity LED before?  That's like going up to a guy that just smoked your La Ferrari with his GTR that's a fraction of the cost of your overpriced prancing horse and insist that the new traction control design shouldn't work because you and other say so. lol. You then  ask him to give you his design and explain to you how it works???[IMG]

Buy your own and do your own testing, sir.  It seems even when the results are in front of you, it will not be enough to convince you so good luck, sir!

I also thought a pic's worth a thousand words, but it seems like it's the other way around for your personal taste.  I respect that![IMG]

They also have a Solarsystem600, which will be a very fair fight.  In fact, it's a 50w handicap match in favor of Advanced:)

No hostilities here.  This is Sunday church compared to IC and RIU. lol.

Consodering i can pull just as much gpw with my mars as you can with a solar spec either says the light isnt as good or the grow envirome t isnt dialed in.. :) if you think its way better.... just saying the numbers on both would say the solar spec would kick a mars but does it....

Now I remember why I left my last favorite forum lol. Capitalism (advertising).

5 minutes on youtube shows anyone there are heaps of LED's that grow sick buds. Unless you are getting paid to, why argue over who's slightly better?

    Edited for spelling.

Good point but yeah it's heading that way. Same reason I unsubbed to the vape thread even though I love vapeing. Straight away was bombarded with basically "that vape sucks, this is the best" and thought "fuck this"..
