Just cut them down before your next light cycle, anything more is just a waste of time. Total "bro science".
The conclusion I'm getting is that it really doesn't matter. Dry vs wet, yes I completely agree, dry is far better. There is tons of water in the plants regardless, just less in the soil. When plants wilt, they still have lots of water inside, but not a lot, hence the wilting.
