It matters because gay people cant have a fully genetic offspring by doing this, it will only have half of one parents genetics, if i understand it correctly. I see that as selfish since they wouldn't be able to make a child naturally.

A child needs both a mother and a father to be raised by influence. I don't have a problem with gays/lesbians, but I think they shouldn't raise children because of the impressions. A mixed child being raised by lesbians in a white community intolerant of minorities... I feel sorry for the kid.

I don't think my viewpoint is skewed. I think it's logical. There's no reason to bring another person into the world because you're selfish and think you deserve to have your own child, when you're not able to do so naturally. I don't see what's so confusing..

But.. The outcome is the exact same.. There were x amount of orphans before you decided you wanted a kid, then you have the new kid through whichever means, and there's still the same amount of orphans.. So it's only selfish because I assume it doesn't apply to you?
No, I think you're focusing too much on the orphan part. It's selfish because two gay people can't have a genetic baby! I'm not homophobic whatsoever, but it's selfish if you're attracted to the same sex and think you're entitled to your own baby. When we all know that's not how it works. How is that NOT selfish?
