I don't think you should run auto flowers. Photo period plants out perform in yeild and thc content. Maybe sometime in future they will get them worked out to be able to compete with photo period plants but for now unless you are pressed for time or space I think they aren't worth it.

I see a bunch of solo cup plants in there do you have a 2nd grow setup to allow you to veg and Flower at same time? If not I can see this as a reason to run auto flowers. If you have grow space left in flower tent you could always throw down the auto flowers while flowering. Than restart the room with new photo period plants without messing with the auto.

 

I have the apollo 300watt cob led light. Yours must be the normal 300watt panel? If you really want to do auto flowers you should read a bunch of threads and other information on them before you do. I have never been impressed by th numbers they are putting up for yeild. Fast or not a low yeild will always be disappointing. Of course this is just my view and I haven't tried them for myself.

 

I have seen the seed sellers claiming numbers like this as well. Of course this is using 1000watt hps or more, in hydro grow with the exact right amount of nutes at all times, and than they add 100grams to that number for good measure. They do it with all plants not just auto' s so I have learned to just block those numbers out as nonsense. Most times they are even talking about yeild of several plants grown in a sea of green with 3x3' or m2. So grain of salt with those numbers for sure, but an OZ for autos as you say isn't crazy talk. 1/2 to 3/4 is what I read in threads most times.

 

I can see why you would think this. I don't particularly care for autos myself due to lack of control but there are some growers on here that know how to work their magic with their autos. Snoopdog6502 is a beast with autos and gets some pretty good yields, but then again he has been growing for a good number of years.
 
I would look into running a scrog, I've found with my current grow it's really helped cut back on popcorn bud since leds don't get the same light penetration as hps. Another reason why I prefer photos is their ability to be trained. 

 

 
Look good man, am growing with LED to.
Am on my 3rd & 4th grow now with autos.
My first grow was with a normal photo white widow, but have learnt the differences with growing autos.
First x2 autos I did't as such look after them too much as had my WW finishing up.
But like you say the average auto will get you just about an oz per plant, but you can double if not more if you LST.
I think from my x2 autos I got roughly 23grams from each plant and those plants were stretched as hell.
 
My current NL x BB plant, I've LST for the first time and everything seems to be going very well.
Just from the LST I now have x10 plus tops rather then x1 main top from the plant. So I am aiming for at least 2oz if not more,
but I've been told the NL x BB strain is a heavy producer.
 
Whats the strain your growing?
You look like you growing in the same size tent as me too.
Your def notice a difference growing autos over the photos your currently growing.
I want at some stage to do a scrog with some photo plants, but I will always be worrying about males popping up.

Yep I've been trying to find a quicker method of harvest myself, but have been slightly disappoint with the autos so far.
But the first x2 autos l grew i did;t get them enough attention, the current one is growing much better and have got use to my LED more now. With an auto plant you basically have roughly 25 to 26 days before it starts to show signs of flowering, so you need to get that seedling as strong as possible within 25 days roughly. The LST I've done recently has really impressed me so fingers crossed it will double my harvest. I don't tend to belive breeders flowering guidelines so the last auto I grew when to roughly 8 and 9 weeks. Some autos will go easy 10 or 11 weeks, but I know there are strains that are ment to be lot quicker.
 
Those current strains your growing sound very interested, never heard of them or the breeder before.
How long have you vegged for? To speed a harvest up slightly you could just veg normal photo plants till they get to a certain height,
eg roughly a foot high then switch to flowering, if did this with a scrog with would work pretty well I think. I aim to do something like
that in my next grows early next year, very keen on the scrog like yourself.
 
If you do try autos you can bring the LED down to roughly 6 to 7" above the seedlings and they just love it.
I've got sweet skunk auto seedling at 13 days old currently it doing amazing.

 

 
I'd flip them to flowering asap, they will at least double in height if not more.
If your limited to 6ft you don't want the getting too high for your tent.

 

I dont get it i have a 300watt LED with 4x23watt cfl lights and my plants are small compared 2 others and i have autos...my led is about a foot away and cfl lights 2in away at the same time with no heat or overwater indications. What can be the problem ??
