Seed Into Hydrotons

    I see some people just place the seed in the hydrotons is that better then using rockwool ?

    it can be less of a hassle ime. just personal preference. some people have no trouble at all with their rockwool

    Wouldnt you have trouble giving it water after it germinate ? Do you place the seed the at the bottom of the net pot where the water is barely touching it ?

    no. fill the net pot with hydroton. then remove 1 inch. place seed in a secure spot where it won't fall thru the 'ton, then keep water level just below the seed
     
    your bubbles do all the work

    Root plugs> rockwool

    No phing necessary with rps

    I use rapid rooters. I doubt it matters though.
