Ways for Light Deprivation

  1. It is hard for me to get a complete black out.
It might also create molding issue.
Can I use a dark mesh to trick it into flowering?

  2. Any Light leaking during the 12x12 lights out is bad news, may make a hermie outta her, or even just keep her in veg..
use a black opaque trash bag until you get the space sorted, or consider autos

  3. I have used a large trash bag to cover an outdoor plant. The cheaper bags don't block light. But the heavy construction grade bags work great. The plant I covered was only about 3 1/2 feet tall so the bag did a good job of covering it. I used a tomato cage with a bucket on top and covered the entire plant with the trash bag that reached just down to the dirt. Eventually, powdery mildew started scaring me, so I ended up chopping maybe two weeks sooner than I wanted, but I harvested about 3 ounces of bud trimmed and dried of probably the dankest weed I've grown so far. Turned out to be a pleasant little mid July bonus while the rest of my shit was growing.
