BEGINNER TO NUTRIENTS

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by TheCorn, Oct 1, 2014.

  1. Hello,
4 days ago, September 28th, I planted a Tangelo Rapido seed and a Critical Rapido seed. Both of which are autoflowers by the way and About a day after they were put into their organic soil growing medium, they sprouted. Yesterday i ordered the Advanced Nutrients Jungle Juice trio of Micro, Grow, and Bloom 1L. I've read around and around trying to figure out the feeding schedule and also trying to figure out how much and how often i should feed them. Should i wait until week two before i begin feeding or would i be able to feed them around Sunday? (Week 1)
When should i begin to up the dosage and by how much should the dosage be increased? Any dumbing down of nutrients and any information would be greatly appreciated you guys. I am new to the grow scene so i've been doing all my research before i make any serious moves. I'm excited, motivated, and ready to plunge into the world of Grow. Thanks for any information.

  2. I wouldn't feed them anything until the little round leaves start to die off.

AN Nutrient calculator. Not sure why you are having problems finding a feeding chart for them, if you google the subject it pops up their site and at least 10 images of their feeding chart.

Input your information into the feeding calculator and it will give you your schedule.

  4. Autos are very nute sensitive and you should never give them nutes in a soil set up until at least week 3... if your soil is nutrient rich you can actually grow one from start to finish with water only. If you over feed and shock it you will greatly reduce yields because they finish when they finish you can't control their timeline.

  5. I use Fox Farm soil and soluable nutes for my autoflowers and give no more than a quarter published amount to start and never more than half. Normally not until the 3rd or 4th week. Auto's can burn fairly easily.

  6. Thanks for all this info guys. I just see people saying they gave their seedling an apparent recommended amount of nutes and i was just getting confused. And my Tangelo R seems to be growing fine (i would assume) but my Critical R is growing. Almost like the letter 'Y' ??? Good thing or bad thing, i haven't the slightest clue.
