Hi all, New grower here. I've been reading, contemplating, and educating myself for 10 years - I'm finally at a point in my life where I can have a grow room. I've had an unsuccessful outdoor grow several years ago, but nothing serious. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the supplies to build the room (5x7") 8" tall. I used PVC pipe - lined the outside in black tarp and the inside in Mylar. I have a 1000w MH/HPS light with cool tube reflector. Since I only have 5 seedlings and no inline fan (yet), I am running the light at 500w. Soil is FF Ocean Forest and FF Light Warrior mixed 1:1. Nutes are FF Trio - haven't started those yet, as the cotyledons have not fallen off. Seeds are random bagseed. Let me know what you think. I think they look great, considering I don't have proper ventilation yet. Apparently I am growing them upside down in an anti-gravity chamber :/
I read on these forums and other places that mixing the 2 is optimal. Apparently FFOF alone is too hot.
They look healthy, great job, the green light makes things tough on my old eyes lol. Keep up the great work. I don't know much about fox farms but have seen the same type of info on the forums aswell.
