Ok, so this friend we'll call Bill. Bill and I work together and sometimes talk about stupid shit we've done when we were high and stuff. Anyways the conversation lead to this story about when he used to live in another subdivision further away from work and at the time, the neighborhood was very small like probably 20 houses, but it had started growing. Anyways, he told me that he and his wife used to blaze up on their back porch almost every night after their kids went to bed. Interesting thing about their "back porch" was that it was actually designed like a greenhouse. It was surrounded with that acrylic glass material and a door to the backyard and some windows that could be opened...so yeah, basically a teeny tiny little greenhouse attached to their house. He said he never grew any plants in there but they were just constantly hitting the bong left and right until about 12am every night. After they would get tired and head up to bed, they would open the porch door to let all the thick fog of smoke out and it was so strong that his neighbors would be feeling a slight high in the morning and stuff. SO! A cop with a K9 unit moved into a house about 4 doors down and Bill got really paranoid about the cop saying something or the K9 maybe picking up a scent so he stopped smoking for like a week and eventually his wife invited the cop over for some kind of potluck and basically a "Welcome to the neighborhood" party. The cop ended up pulling Bill aside and saying, hey I know you're a stoner and I'm a cop but state law says I can't do anything to you or search your place because it's a conflict of interest - the judge might assume that I arrested you or whatever because I don't like you as a neighbor. End of the story, Bill was pretty happy that the cop didn't do anything and never did. In fact they actually got to be pretty good friends who still talk to this day and STILL to this day, the cop knows Bill smokes quite heavily and has never said a word. I thought the story was pretty funny, especially the billowing smoke coming from their porch in the middle of the night but sometimes like once in a blue moon, you meet a cop that isn't really out for blood.
That's cool that the cop was a nice guy, there's a lot of them that would probably ignore that and get one of their other cop goons to get him instead of himself. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Awesome i wish more people were open more open minded when it comes to being friends with stoners. I've found that some people that used to be your friends dont want to hang or chill with u cuz yer a stoner but this in fact shows that even a cop can be great friends with someone who smokes weed constantly
