I've read Slash, Duff, Stevens bios and my conclusion is though everyone could have done something differently to maybe prevent the implosion, Axl seemed to be the most contributing factor. And it's a shame I'll most likely never get to see one of my favorites as a whole because he's crazy as fuck. 'Too blessed to be stressed'
What sucks is that he has legitimate mental issues that were never properly addressed. After GnR blew up, no one really cared about him as a person, just cared about making money off of his success. The rock star life definitely isn't for the faint of heart.
I love how Eddie just fucks around for the 2nd half of the song haha. Favorite song from that album is Top Jimmy. http://youtu.be/d681GuMZj6Y 'Too blessed to be stressed'
this IS without any doubt THE holy grail of concerts 1981 Van Halen Oakland , Ca.. UNCHAINED ! youtube.com/watch?v=LNzbhgwBJHU
i don't think i could properly answer this question. i can't widdle it down. too many genres and shit. but i'll try. in no particular order Nirvana Metallica Jimi Hendrix Experience Red Hot Chili Peppers black sabbath
Maybe so, still one of my favorite bands regardless. They ended on the top of their game, before they had time to fall off like every other grunge band did. So the legend outweighs reality at this point. That mind lend some credence to the overrating. edit: might as well put a classic rock song in here One of my top 5 Hendrix songs for sure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfKEEddXGoM
Nirvana def has some good songs though. Favorite Jimi song and solo http://youtu.be/4VxMDwYfxvQ 'Too blessed to be stressed'
My mom wants me to play this on guitar for her birthday next month... I've only been playing a month and a half haha. She may have to wait. My 2nd favorite Zep song behind Good Times Bad Times http://youtu.be/gAVB25yjY5I 'Too blessed to be stressed'
