Good afternoon all, The title pretty much says it all, my buddy has a hookup and I have been buying from him for about 3 months. I buy 1/8 bags from him about once a week. My buddy takes the money and goes to the dealer's house and gets the stuff. It was a pretty good business relationship until I wanted to celebrate my birthday with a half O (200$) He said he would hook me up and take 40 bucks off. I pick up my buddy, give him the money and he goes up stairs. 30 min goes by and I'm starting to think something went wrong, like a bust or maybe the dealer held him up for the money, IDK I'm just saying what was going through my mind. Then reality hits, my so called friend doesn't answer his text, doesn't answer the phone, and hasn't contacted me since. It's only been a day but I'm pretty sure I was ripped off. I know what everyone's going to think and say, ALWAYS see the product and have it in your hands before giving the money. If this wasn't a friend then yes I agree and at the time I was pissed at myself for trusting my friend. But afterwards I figured I could have gotten jumped if he was already dead set on taking the money so I went home minus 160 and no green stuff, double pounded right in the pussy I really hope my friend is ok, like not busted and not beat up. Luckily a close relative lives around the dude and asking around. It's the hood everyone knows everyone and I would be an outsider for sure. And as messed up as it may seem, the worst part is not having a hook up anymore in the ft lauderdale area!!! lol kills me but like i said it could be worse. Tell me your opinions and thoughts -Did my friend get beat up by the dealer (lol highly unlikely for 160$) -Cops bust the dealer and freeze my buddy's phone (maybe a possibility) [SIZE=11pt]-Ripped off (highly likely, happy b day to me lol) [/SIZE]
You got ripped off..$160 is probably a lot of money your friend. You drove your friend to the dealers house, and your friend stayed in the house for a very long time and then you just left? Without knocking on the door or anything

STOP CALLING HIM YOUR FRIEND! He's not your friend! He stole your money! He waited for when you wanted something big and then robbed you. Maybe it was worth it to him to make $10 on every 8th he sold you but on this deal he just robbed you. I'm not going to tell you what should be done to your "friend" but he robbed you blind. He is a scumbag and you never had a hookup to begin with so you just got ripped off by a thief. Find yourself an actual weed dealer.
Dealers don't want people waiting outside! They robbed you! There is no dealer here just opportunist thieves. If you're boy was cool to go inside then you would be OK to go inside too. Do I need to say he robbed you again?

You're right there is no universal rulebook. I'm just saying for future reference...if someone says wait outside while I go in to get it, then it's usually because they want to do it that way so they can pinch your stack or pocket some dough. I'm not sure if there even was a dealer or if your buddy even has the hookup he says he does..prob not.
