Finally time for a new vape...

  1. Yeah if I remember correctly he had some issues with the connectors shorting out. I actually had one go bad that was most likely because of a short. Of course Dave had a new one shipped out instantly.

For me the wall wart was a little to hot for the nylon stem but just about perfect for using with the glass stems. The wall warts should be actually pushing over 13 volts so they are at least near the upper bounds of operation. There are a few different ways to regulate the temp such as moving the screen further/closer away from the element and using a longer/shorter cord but I find the VVPS to be the easiest.  Typically the vvps it is not needed but It does improve the experience.

  2. Better vaporizers out there,,,,,
I've never had a customer service problem like I personally have had with them. This wasn't just one thing
My vaporizer worked for two weeks.
I'm glad you've never had a problem with them Iwien. They're Great at sales.
They know how to make the reservations, just not good at keeping them.
You can deal with them all you want. I'll keep my opinion.

I just wont deal with being  disrespected as a customer and not receiving items I paid for.

  3. Your vape worked two weeks until you broke it and now your going on and on about a shipping a mistake. Your opinion sucks.

I can literally post up hundreds of great 7th Floor reviews by very long time satisfied customers who have purchased multiple vapes from them over the years.

I'm not trying to invalidate your experience with them, Hum but what I will do is invalidate your assumption that just because YOU had an issue with them, that others will as well.

I suggested to you that you kick your issue upstairs to someone higher up the management chain to help resolve your problem.   I even gave you the owners name, but you have refused to do so but instead continue to bash the company here in multiple threads.     You sir, are the one who has an issue..........not 7th Floor.

  5. Looking at what I am probably going to order I came up with this:
LSV: Red Cord Cap and Power Section, Purple Ventilation Section and End Cap
    Wand Color: Blue
    14 MM Shorty WPA
Custom Knob: Preference will be Green and Blue

Anything else that should be added?

  6.
Not that I can think of.

  7. JGAV

    (Just get a volcano)

  8. Ridiculously overpriced, not remotely worth it for me...I have used them a few times and other than the novelty of the bags, it is just an insane markup.

  9. *Facepalm*

  10. Alright I am about ready...Should I order direct from 7th floor do you think?

  11.
Naw.   I'd suggest to order from one of their retailers/distributors.   You may actually get a better price that way being that many of them offer discount coupons and free shipping.    Also, you have a better chance of getting better after-sale customer service purchasing a product from someone whose sole business is sales and this holds true for ANY product.

  12. Ok good call... I will probably look at vapornation then, they seem to be the best price of the FC Authorized Retailers and only two of the stores seem to have it.

  13.
Use their FC discount code for an extra 16% off.

  14. Yep I saw that, that is a great discount!

  15. 7th floor stands behind it's products no matter how you got them. No one else does this ($25 plus shipping to repair any DB) I don't know about other stuff but I hope it is same policy.
This is all about opinions and they differ from person to person. Lwien gives advice. He doesn't make you follow it. Long time users have been answering the same questions over and over for years so it may appear to give you short or curt answers but they are doing a public service.
Generation gap? Seems like it. You want your voice to be heard and respected? Try doing same.

  16. You noticed me years ago other places? I have only ever used this screen name on this website and I have only used it on here for a little over a year. Ill just consider that delusional ramblings of an old person.

I dont have an SSV because I dont use whips anymore and I still technically have a DBV that is a few years old and an LSV is on my short list to buy.

What research? Where are all these other dissatisfied customers?

Im not a kid. Im a full grown adult.

  17.
I wish I could delete some comments off my thread, this guy has just been flaming it the whole time. Thanks for the advice POTtato and lwien, I made my purchase on vapor nation (ended up going with blue) and WPA with a free metal grinder and scale and after discount came to under $200 bucks. Can't beat that. LSV, here i come!

If ya need any user tips after you get it, don't hesitate to ask.    If you like getting smacked in the head by a 2x4, you're gonna love the LSV.    Treat it with respect though, for it is a vaping machine that will kick your ass if you don't.  ;)

Edit:   Thought I'd post up a recent review from a Scottish member over at FC.   This should keep ya salivating until you get it.   Check it out:

"Another UK LSV newbie here. I received my all black LSV on Tuesday direct from 7th. Floor. That night, I tried it with the wand and was pleasantly surprised - I got nicely stoned. Next night, I used the WPA with my Weedstar Double Bubbler. A couple of minutes after finishing, I got a slap across the back of the head, at which point I realised I wasn't just stoned, I was absolutely wrecked! (Haven't experienced that for years!) I spent the next half an hour sitting there in awe and wonder at the state I was in. After that, I was unable to decide what to do with myself as I was so out of it. Not only that, but it gave me the body stone/couch lock as well, which I had sorely missed with my Herbalaire. Both times, I put my gear down before the load was finished as I'd had enough - another first. This thing is giving me the same effect as combustion, which is what I was after - big thanks to Max who suggested it to me in the Q&A thread. I'm also amazed at how quick the process is - 4 to 6 draws and your done inside 5 minutes. With the Herbalaire it was more like 15 to 20, probably due to the more restricted draw. (Not knocking it - they are totally different design concepts.)"

You should make a thread for the lsv. It could be like an appreciation thread, but the first post would also have the little tips you know for the lav, like moving the heater to a certain length e.t.c

I think many would benefit from that, including me since im gonna join the lsv family myself by the end of october.

  20.
Ok, will work on it.    Btw, check out the edit on my previous post.   Posted up a recent review that could get ya bit more excited.
