My iPhone 4 is finally about to die so I'm going to upgrade phones soon. I'm just wondering what I'm going to do with my phone once it dies. It sat in my pocket for many years, around me 24/7. I even sleep with it next to me, and it wakes me up in the morning. I hiked to almost the top of the world with it, and looked onto the the wilderness below. So many bong rips, adventures, bike rides, ladies, drunken nights with friends, I feel bad tossing it out. Usually if I still have the boxes, I'll store it away in my basement in a dark corner. I don't know what I'm expecting, but it's weird. Would it be more weird to give it a burial? We do it with animals and people. I know people and animals have life, spirit and emotions, but my robotic companion felt like something deeper, like a friend or a tumour. Same with my day one edition working Xbox 360, except all that's seen is me playing video games and masturbating. Omega369
Probably not environmentally acceptable to bury it in the ground Keep it in a drawer if you still want to keep it, but I know when I upgraded my phone earlier this year they gave me money to trade my old one in
