Oregon measure 91 too close to call according to latest poll

  1. Yesterday, a poll from SurveyUSA was released that surveyed 568 likely voters and asked them if they were certain to vote yes, no, or undecided on measure 91. The poll's results were 44% in support, 40% in opposition, and 16% undecided with a 4.2% error margin. The measure is also tied 42-42 in the Portland area, but it leads 47-38 throughout the rest of the state, according to the poll.

When I was first reading about this, I was disappointed since earlier polls indicated that support for measure 91 had a stronger lead back when SurveyUSA was polling for it in June and August. But some reports are saying that the wording of this most recent poll is different from the ones earlier this year, and it made voters choose what they were certain to vote on when Election Day comes, which could be why the undecided percentage is significantly high. I hope that they do other survey polls in October that are more accurate. The yes on 91 campaign is reportedly going to be working on encouraging the younger demographic to register to vote since that's where support is the highest, and voter turnout is the lowest in that demographic during off year elections.

Dude don't even worry bout it, the fact that its been up two times in a row shows a lot of support. Last time everyone was prolly too stoned and forgot to vote, this time those guys will be standing in line.

Plus those polls are usually inaccurate, I mean hell we had an 80+% quinnipec (so?) Poll a few months back in fl and now we got all these polls showing its closer to 50%. Now that sucks considering we need 60% to pass.
