i have a white rhino under a 600 watt hps in 3rd week of flower. i cut off a few fan leaves that looked damaged last night and now all of the fan leaves are sagging this morning please help! i looked around everywhere and couldnt find anything on drooping leaves other than transplant shock and a couple obvious ones that im not experiencing here. so i think it s probably cuz i cut fan leaves off, what does anyone else think? i cant get pics up right now but it wouldnt make a huge difference, she is sagging more like she is over watered, she could be cuz her soil is wet but she wasnt sagging yesterday and i watred two days ago

  2. Root bound and not using the water?

  3. Hmm she definately isnt root bound cuz shes in a five gallon pot and i have a plant almost twice her size of the same strain growing under the same conditions, only difference is me cutting the leaves :/

What about fertilization? To many if, ands, or buts without more pertinent information. What about run-off ph measurment. If you would simply do that one thing we might could give you some resolution. Seems you're close to harvest in a few weeks anyway. If you don't check run-off ph measurement I'd simply flush if you suspect more that trimming a few fan leafs, obviously that's not your issue. Frankly, I don't relish having to extract information from folks because it wastes so much time and is annoying. If more folks would complete this: http://forum.grasscity.com/sick-plants-problems/226015-when-posting-your-sick-plants-questions.html ... we'd be spitting out sick cannabis resoluteness so fast it would make your head spin. I suppose I'm simply venting, but who cares anyway, aye?

BTW: Your girls pack on much additional weight the last two/three weeks, you need to resolve your issue so yield doesn't suffer. I'm not seeing much wrong from the photo's although they do appear vague.

What brand and type of soil?fox farm ocean forest

    Indoors or outdoors?indoors

    What strain?white rhino

How old are the plants?4 months total

What type of lights and how many watts? 600 watt hps

How far from the lights?2 feet

What is your watering frequency and source of water?1-2 times a week with spring water

What, how much and when was it fed? NPK? Fox farm trio last fed two days ago

What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro?runoff ph is 5-5.7 not exactly sure cuz i have the color tester

What are the temps and humidity in the room?temps are 70-80 daytime and 58-65 nightime

    What size pots?5 gallon

Any bugs? Look real close. I cant see.

  7. Sorry about that i dont mean to make the forums all laggy and slow, ill catch on quick tho

  8. Oh and i top dressed with lime when i watered them last to try to correct ph, i seem to have issues with it cuz im getting calcium and mag problems on most of my plants

  9. You need to lower your light within 12 inches possibly even 8 inches ... hold you hand on top of your canopy for a couple minutes and if it's very uncomfortable for you then move it two inches upwards each time until you're comfortable with the heat, light needs to be close unless its an 8 band spectrum LED.

If your ph is as low as you think, or close, observe this chart: http://boards.cannabis.com/attachments/plant-problems/281235d1325194867-brown-spots-some-twisted-leaves-some-tips-curled-down-phchart.jpg, you'll notice an issue to resolve. Mg and Ca in nutrient uptake is being locked out mostly likely by excessive salt build up. Flush plants with 3 times the substrate volume of water until run-off is 6.5

    Stop cutting off leaves then.

If the soil is still wet 2 days after watering, then that is definitely another problem.  A plant that is rootbound would not have moist soil after 2 days.  I'd be careful with the lime, it's powerful and too much can cause more problem than none at all.  How much exactly did you use?

You mention you are using the FF trio, but at what strength and what frequency?  Hopefully not all at once, just saying I've seen that a few times.

Let's assume for a minute this is a PH problem and not necessarily an overwater/overfed related issue.  How would have the PH dropped to a level of problematic on it's own?  I'd imagine the water and ferts being used would be the culprit.  Assuming once again, then how would flushing with what caused the issue in the first place be a resolution?  Just curious.

  12. Yeah i stopped cutting the leaves off the same day that i cut them, i only took off like 3 of them, but i looked at her today and it looks like shes doing better with a few of her upper leaves so im thinking it could be the overwatering... And yeah i was thinking that those problems are caused by lockout not lack of the nutrient so i didnt supplement it with anything just in case, i also top dressed with 2 tbs of lime per gallon of soil.. I read that that was a good idea to do... I use the trio according to their schedule with 3 tsp of big bloom, 2tsp of grow big and 2 tsp of tiger bloom..the only thing i didnt do was the second flush that they called for so salt build up seems to be it..... I guess im just stumped as to what i should do about them being root bound:( shes my second smallest plant so the others might be showing signs soon what should it do? Ill train them to be smaller next time but theyre a little out of control as this is my first grow and im not good at trainning yet but thanks for the response!

  13. She just seems so small to be root bound that it confuses me, i keep reading elsewhere that a foot per gallon is how big they can get without being root bound is this true? Shes only about 2.5 feet tall and my tallest is 3 feet :/

  14.
    They are not root-bound.

  15. Shoot maybe they just dont want to drink that water because it has even more nutes that they dont need? Should i wait to flush them till the soil is dry right? I want to avoid causing more stress on them if i can thanks!

  16. When should it finish? You said you were 3 weeks into flowering?

  17. Yeah apparently its a 7-9 week strain about halfway
Two of my plants are a different strain but finish around 7-8 weeks

  18. I think they just finished the stretch too

  19. You should flush, bring your run-off to 6.5
