  1. First of all I would like to say I DON'T BELONG TO ANY POLITICAL PARTY
NOR DO I SMOKE POT! Some members of my family could potentially benefit from medical aspect of medicinal marijuana as they are not well… And last but not least I don't like the idea of "Goliath burning ants with a huge magnifying glass for PROFIT$$$"

Furthermore, I would like for the participants that add on to this post to please keep it civil! There is no need to argue on, and on, because someone has a different opinion! The point is to add informative FACTS so VIEWERS and VOTERS can actually get informed and make EDUCATED DECISIONS when it's time to vote!

    Thanks for reading

Florida's medical marijuana is on the November 4 2014 ballot, some polls estimate that 71% support and 29% oppose Amendment 2, and If you read online or look into the social media sites there is a general "hurray, finally, whoopee" attitude..

But, do the voters really know what they are ACTUALLY VOTING ON?

DOES... ANYONE... HAVE A GOOD RESON TO VOTE YES😁😁😁

Florida mmj is not about helping the sick it's about monopolizing!!!

  2. Do you care explaining why? I almost feel as if you're trying to trick the stoners into voting against what they believe.

  3. my reason to vote "yes" is to annoy you, just like you are annoying the rest of us with your pointless threads and posts.

    trollin' is not welcomed here.

  6. I started this thread to actually talk about why or why not this is or isn't good I'm open to listen to real reasons and get to the bottom of "amendment 2"

At the end of the day if it becomes law I won't really be affected because i don't smoke... I can't profit... and I'm not sick... But I would just be disappointed because the sick people would be subject to giving money to a monopolized Mmj state... And it just another win for under table rich & politicians...

  7. You obviously have nothing important to add to this topic... After a comment like that I can't even expect intelligent or informed feedback.. You are only here to disturb and deflect from the importance of what will happen in consequence of "nov 4" you had a choice to click on the thread,,, you read,,, and that was your comment... That what a troll does disturb + annoy

  8. I will vote yes and I am not even a Florida resident! I just love to wave my marijuana leaf flag high and proudly! Right or wrong i want it legalized. Even if it's a monopoly. That seems to be the current trend in American business now days. If you don't like monopoloization, you should never shop at wal-mart or but any type of gasoline. Good luck living in a monopoly free America!!

  9. voting yes just to vote yes and wave a "flag" is not the smartist vote but it's your choice "nov 4" do you have any GOOD REASONS,,,, if not thanks for your input... I guess... 😴

Question...What happened to this guy on the bottom ????😳😳😳

Makes me Wonder... How he voted in those screwed up 2 presidential elections😂😂😂
    Flip...flop...flip....flop...

  10.
How is no medical marijuana access better than even limited medical marijuana access? At least terminally ill people will have a chance at getting access to medical marijuana if this bill passes. If this bill doesn't pass, everything will stay the same and no one will get access.

Why would you want it to stay the same? Even this version of medical marijuana is better than no medical marijuana access at all. That's my logic.

  13. Oh I know nothing about voting in a law. If that what this thread is about, then I apologise for the mis-understanding.

I ask you....what percentage of Grass city members do you think really care about voting in a law?

  14. I have voted in every election I was able to for nearly 40 years, in support of liberal candidates and pro-pot legislation wherever possible, and will continue to do so. However, it is true that I have done more for the cause of legal cannabis simply by using it, growing it, talking to people about it, and singing its praises than any of my votes have ever done. The whole world can threaten me and tell me I'm wrong, but no law will stand between me and myself. So vote. Or don't. The world will go on much as it has either way.

As for medical pot being largely a scam industry, no argument there. Sure does work wonders for me, as both a medicine and a recreation, but the industry is full of greedy stoner mother fuckers. Not all, but many. Yes, medical marijuana is better than outright illegality, and fully legal pot is better than these bullshit medicinal laws and bullshit pot doctors and bullshit recommendations.

Though things do seem to be looking up all across the country. 2016 may see many more changes for the better.

Chunk closed your other thread but OK.

What do you suggest to improve MMJ laws in Florida, or general cannabis laws in general?

I support full legalization and little to no regulation. Practically speaking, Amendment 2 is an improvement upon current Florida MMJ laws. It's not the end-all-be-all to Florida MMJ though.

A sick person receiving MMJ is preferable to them having criminal charges or turning to pharmaceuticals when it is not necessary.

  18. Ok I mis-understood your post. You are talking about the implications of MMJ in Florida.

In California there are many many loopholes to MMJ. Here is the breakdown:

In California, anyone over 18 can walk into a MMJ doctor's office with cash. They give you a form to fill out. On this form, they have a list of ailments that MMJ can help you with. They ask you to review the list and then write in your ailments. (i chose diabetes, depression and insomnia). 10 minutes in the doc's office. She took my blood pressure, asked me if I have smoked marijuana before, and how it helps me. $40 is paid, and i walk around the corner to get free weed.

It's so simple. I think that Florida wants to bypass the simplicity of what California has, and complicate it. Sucks for Floridians.

  19.
The bill that OP is against, in my interpretation at least, would greatly expand eligible MMJ patients much like California. Can't remember the exact language but it basically said something like ".. and any condition a doctor believes will be helped by MMJ" basically giving way to the rise of MMJ docs.

  20. Yes, but state legislature can say that you can only get it from your family MD. They can say no. Here in California, we have MMJ doctors on every street corner. They will always say yes because it's $$$$$. Rarely will they say no. They are not medical doctors, they are MMJ doctors. The more patients, the more $$$.
