  1. So the question that must be asked. (probably been asked before) is smoking weed a sin? Arguments for and against! Go!

  2. I don't think it is if you live in a place where it's legal. But Christians are supposed to not break the law.

  3. Gods law is above mans

  4. But if you follow the bible it says that people in authority were put there by god so you must follow the law of the land and if you do not you are not following god...

Law of the land says weed is illegal...

  5. Annicus, that is true. Even if it is a sin all sins are equal and can be forgiven equally. And as my old psstor loved to say it's not a sin if you didn't know you where sinning. Apparently that's why people who have never heard of God can still be allowed in heaven. ***disclaimer***\tI'm no longer a Christian and haven't been for at least 5 years so any more modernized beliefs I really have very little knowledge on.

  6. It was a facetious joke.

  7. I think God has already spoken on this topic...

    Genesis 1:29 KJV
    King James Version
And God said , Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.

  8. Booyaa!!! Praise The Lord.

  9. If men believe their own doctrinal texts they know that those who live intoxicated (weed, opium, booze, ect) are not going to heaven. for the bible tells them so.

X-ians live in this false world of asking for forgiveness then keep doing the same stupid shit, yeah the gawds are not going to figure that one out, LOL!

  10. All plants where created by God. God didnt put Marijuana on Earth without a reason.

  11. I don't get the whole "obey the laws of the land" thing there are more than a few laws that go against gods will (death penalty, plants being illegal etc.) I'm sure there's something about your body being a gift from god and that you shouldn't harm it so maybe he'd have something against smoking but I can't see why he'd be against vaporising or eating pot. Then again alcohol harms the body and Jesus loved his wine.

I think the bibles too contradictory to take seriously.

  12. I'm sure if he or she exists they wouldn't of put it on earth to not be used.

  14. The bible says the law of the land, god put anyone who is in authority there so if you do not follow them you do not follow god...

So it is gods law to follow mans law...

  15. You forget that many have broken law to worship God... I would say that it is but it is not a sin. You are breaking Gods law but following it at the same time. There really is no true answer.

  16. First of all the law of the land is the constitution, which permits us to consume cannabis if we wish, implicitly. That said, the Bible has little direct commentary on cannabis other than it being used in the holy oil. Moderation is important however, as with all things. In jest, it would be a sin not to consume cannabis ;-)

  17. wrong, the law of the land means all of the laws within a country or region and that includes statue law and common law...

  18. Ok so a christian in denver would be following state and local law, which violates federal law - which federal violates the true law of the land the constitution. And what verse are you referring to, and it better not be romans.

the country is the United States, federal law trumps state law

the federal government is just choosing not to prosecute...its still illegal..

  20. But federal law violates the constitution which trumps federal law. Federal laws go way past what the constitution allows. Which i notice you disregard the constitution since you had no comment on it. Nor did you cite the verse you seem to be referring to.
