On the news right now - Pentagon reports that airstrikes have been carried out against ISIS positions including the location where the reporter was beheaded a few weeks ago. Can't find any links just yet.
"The United States launched airstrikes in Syria against ISIS targets, sources tell NBC News. The U.S. military plans to strike up to 20 targets - logistics, fuel and weapons depots; training sites; troop encampments; command and control sites; and headquarters for the Sunni fighters. The U.S. military will deploy manned and unmanned air assets, including F-22s, B-1 bombers, F-16s, F-15s and F/A-18s. The aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush is at the ready in the Persian Gulf, and the USS Arleigh Burke, a guided missile destroyer that fires Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles (TLAMs), is in the Red Sea." http://abcnews.go.com/International/us-airstrikes-syria/story?id=25686031
I'm just waiting to see what Syria's response will be. So fair I've come across this: Syrian FM Moallem: none of this supposed to happen without Syria's knowledge. Israel and Turkey have both launched repeated military attacks on Syria in the past, and nothing has happened. Assad probably won't do anything this time either unless he wants to see his palace hit by a Tomahawk.
The rebels the US was funding in Syria when it was popular or the rebels that are now super extra mean and bad a border away in that shit cocoon recognized as Iraq?
It's hard to say who is who anymore. The thing is, it's not just Iraq's existence at risk, but also Syria and Lebanon.
I'm sure massive civilian casualties will happen, despite there attempts to hit strictly ISIS targets. قد إله Øمايتكم لا Ù„ شيء آخر سو٠Hopefully that translates properly.
Bummer! Would you support stopping that by Americans conducting a lawful and peaceful revolution if there was good strategy to do that?
The money is one thing, but Americans paying for that following the vacuum in Iraq, following the war there, is really not right. Would you support a fully lawful and peaceful revolution to stop this killing of innocent people?
When I drive out to go dirtbiking we drive out past Mojave city and California city it's in the middle of the desert and outside town is an old plane graveyard. Shits pretty cool looking wish I had pictures but the military also practices flight drills so you'll see the stealth bombers flyin around n shit No dust lol they on that shit
It's been a few years since Obama's invasion of Libya, so yea, time for more bloodshed, bombs, mass deaths and destabilization. Let's bomb them into peace! ..because that always works...sigh. We can't go more than a few years without invading someone new... seriously though, someone needs to stop the US already. We're out of control. Democrat or Republican, war is a constant US objective to destabilize and conquer the world along side Israel. It's apparent that humanity hasn't evolved much since the cave man days.. It's downright embarrassing.. Obama is far from what MLK was, and any comparison is straight blasphemy! “Wars are poor chisels for carving out peaceful tomorrows.†― Martin Luther King Jr.
