  1. hi im here to post my grow that i have just started in a small cupboard im a beginner so i am open to help off of others :)

and now the plants are split apart and only  3 days old and they appear to be at a good start also a few pictures of the setup.

  2. Ok, in the first pic I was like, what you gotta stack some shoe boxes under your plant to move it closer to the light, but I see in the last pic it's ok... This is my current stealth grow... I'm a light fiend... the closer the lights are the less stretch you will get (that equals shorter bushier plants). Looking good man

  5. yeah thats what i was thinking ive been watching a few people do little micro grows and i noticed they did it close to the light so yeah you are right having it close should make it shorter and bushier. when they are big enough i will have them in there with no books on the bottom of the cupboard with a net over. thanks for the helpful advice i appreciate it.

  6. How much light are you going to add?

  7. Yo also I just picked up like 5 light bulb splitters, I highly recommend them. You can literally double the lights for cheap. They were like $3-$4 each. I don't know why I didn't do that sooner.

  8. You want CFLs that have a 5000k to 6500k color temp. for the veg stage and for flower you want around 2700k. You also want to look at the lumens of the bulb. I use 12, 23 watt 2700k bulbs for flower but since you have a small area you can use a lot less. More small bulbs spread around the grow area is better than 1 big one in the center

This thread has a lot of good info if you want to take a look at it http://forum.grasscity.com/micro-grows/689881-bongsauces-micro-cabs-stuff-help-thread.html

  9. In my experience, getting the lighting right can be the hardest problem with a stealth grow.

Placing the lights close enough so the plant doesn't stretch, but far way enough so it doesn't burn.

When the plant gets bigger, trying to get the lights in the right place to cover all the buds is difficult to say the least.

But the more lights you have is always better, there is no such thing as too many.

You have to try and balance light with heat and space, very difficult, I think every grow you will get better and better. I know every grow I do I think of ways to make improvements.

  10. really appreciate the help on that note then i think im using the wrong bulb im using a 30w 2700k CFL grow light lamp bulb ES E27. so i need to buy a higher K bulb for the vegetative stage .....if i did that would i be able to save this bulb for the flowering stage later on?

anyway i just bought this bulb off of ebay 65w Blue Spectrum 6400k CFL grow light lamp bulb ES E27: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/65w-Blue-Spectrum-6400k-CFL-grow-light-lamp-bulb-ES-E27-/190490777429?pt=UK_Baby_Baby_Feeding_Bottle_Warmers_Coolers_LE&hash=item2c5a229755

i now have the thermometer at the same level as the plants under the light to get a good reading just incase its too hot for them i hope i have got them right.

just some pictures of how its looking now...

  13. Sounds perfect, temp between 75-80, humidity over 50 is great

Yes, you can save that 2700k bulb for flower and that 6400k bulb will be good for veg. The 2700k wont hurt anything but the new bulb you bought should do a lot better

  16. Yeah I have one coming in the post thanks for the advice. I went out today and got some nutrients, one for vegetating and one for flowering for vegetating I got some pellets and for flowering I'm using some good tomato feed, I made sure they had the right n-p-k rating and  I also ordered a little thermometer with a probe on a wire so I can stick it in the soil and have the display on the outside of the box. I have to admit I'm having some fun with it thanks for all the help. im having a nice smoke tonight 3 nice spliffs  :smoke:

  18. Nice man looking good, those plants should take off now with that light

  19. 10 days old the box has been pretty hot sitting at 31c (87f) so i have been having the door open now and again which cools it off.
