I need your help- please recommend me a vape. Conditions are:

-Affordable (let's say $170 or less)
    -Discreet
    -Easy to use & clean
-Conserves herb (most vapes do anyway)
-look like an e-cigarette or regular cigarette would be a bonus
-prefer if no lighter was involved (like the vapor genie)

    I've tried and owned these:
Vapor Genie, Magic Flight launch box & Arizer solo. Over time I've sold them all and am looking for something new.

    Or

Would it be better to get a home unit like Da Buddha, Silver Surfer  ? Hear lots of good things about these, I know the Buddha is a cheaper version of SSV made by the same company.

All you've owned or tried are portables but if you don't really need a vape to use when you're out and about, I think it may be time for you to try a home unit and the two you mentioned above are both great whip based vapes.

Good point, won't bring it to work or school so at home might be neat to try. I am looking at the portable vapes and wondering if investing in a solid one and keeping it long term would be smarter. They are around $150-300 and have small bowls, can be annoying to clean or reload.

Any major differences between Da Buddha and SSV?

The SSV is a bit more customizable.     The heater angle on the SSV is designed as such so that bud has less of a chance of falling back into the heater.    The temp control knob on the Buddha is in the front of the vape and on the SSV, it's on the rear.    The SSV has a narrower air path so it requires a bit more stirring but also provides a heavier hit than the Buddha, but not by much.

For me, I like the LSV better than both of those.   It has the exact same internal electronics and heater as the SSV and the Buddha but it is primarily designed to work with water pipes and eliminates any need for a long silicone/rubber whip as everything is basically glass on glass.   All three made by the same company............7th Floor.
