I took a head count on the babies 3 are female, 5 still holding back, so probable females Solo looks female, but under a mag glass, looks like it's about to drop nanners
I removed Solo, as I suspected, it's a he. I already have a bunch of seeds, so he's gone Thinking to take the 2 next biggest (still hoping they are Big Mex females) and put them under the 2 SS 150s, and push to flower I will leave the rest under the SS 260 and decide whether to kill them off and start new strain
I hooked up the 2 SS 150s Can't figure out how to use the H connector to hook them together Veg lights only for ~ 10- 15 days Looks like 2/3 on the left are Big Mex females Once I flip, will move one under the 260 and the rest will either go under another light, or be culled
This is on my 260s but 150s look the same. On the short end of the light there are two holes drilled and tapped on each end 2 on left 2 on right. There should have been some stainless screws that came with the bracket... Hope this helps http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1341205-solar-spec-1040-white-led-vs-mars-ii-2100.html#entry20859361
Thanks. I figured it out Kind of a PITA , especially when panels are hanging Chassis holes slightly smaller (and not threaded) than the screws, which are not magnetic I emailed Amare, they are aware and will be correcting
Rethinking what to do with the plants Solo turned out to be male, so he's gone I transferred the remaining 7 plants to another tent with 2 SS 150s Most are female, a couple still haven't sexed, which increases probablity they are female I think/hope/pray that the 2 biggest plants in the left tote are Big Mex Will take the 2 best BBCC females and put them back under the SS 260 using the same rez set up
Almost said "ignore the tape" I had end boxes made that snugly slip on one side of a 260 with 4" duct pointing straight up. All 4 of my lights are manifolded up to an inline fan pulling air out of one side and vented out of the tent. This made my temp drop from 82-85 down to 78-81 I'm going to run like this for a while, I may have some ducting made to attach to the top inlet and run the lights on a separate fan like a cool tube. http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1341205-solar-spec-1040-white-led-vs-mars-ii-2100.html#entry20859361
Would be nice to have a vent accessory for tent / closet growers. I basically use my carbon filter to pull the heat from the tent. Still wonder if I can flip the fan and draw air from the sides and exhaust out the top. I don't think it is a efficient at cooling the heat sinks.
Unless you do air dynamics and know you have sufficient flow passing over all heat sinks... I wouldn't. Two fans on top... Wouldn't be hard to make a duct and use flex duct from your filter to top of light, then side of light out. Gee, maybe someone from Amare is reading this rubbing his hands together planning... http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1341205-solar-spec-1040-white-led-vs-mars-ii-2100.html#entry20859361
Yep got an idea already brewing using one of those magnetic covers that you use for blocking heat vents in your house.
Hey Petflora...nice setup and cool to see these new lights in action... I read through your whole journal but didn't see anywhere to look at the specs of these lights like a website. I hit google and couldnt find any info either...do you have any links to these lights details or where to buy them?
Hey man I sent you some info, go ahead and check your PM's. HTH! Sent from my XT907 using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Overdue, but I finally separated BigMex (sat) from BBCC (Indica) Now each pheno will get special nutes and different lights schedules 3 BBCC under the SS 260
Note the red tint , so yes lol I am very excited to see what or how big of a difference under the SS 260 v the 2 harvests under the BML SPYDR 600 Now, that said, in this tent the plants are Indica dom. The Hi-Intensity SS 260 MIGHT be a bit too intense for them Hence, keeping the panel way up high
The wilted sat fully recovered As I suspected one of the plants I had in the BM tent was a BBCC. She's now where she needs to be Note the screen is for mosquito control Little bastards get into the room and lay their eggs in either the rezes or the totes. I could seal both, but that means more work for adding/replenishing nutes The BBCC looks terrific. Note the strong main stalks
Trying to ignite the sats to grow Yesterday I started turning one white side off, first on one side then the other I love the flexibility that multipanels provides Also increased flood time to fill more of the larger net pots
