@[member="Jeff Fischer"] Riiight? Like every time Danny McBride steps in a room he's blazin' a jay haha!

  5. Those are both awesome, I don't think I've seen In Time but the other two are dooope! Have you seen that movie Lucy that came out earlier this year? It's basically like Limitless except with sexy ass Scarlet Johansen and way more sci-fi and trippy. Like she takes basically the limitless drug and as more and more of her brain gets activated she get's like telepathic and telekinetic powers and by the end of the movie she evolves and becomes like omnipotent, it was fuckin' crazy haha! The acting was kinda iffy and you can't think about it too much but it is certainly trippy as bawls haha.

  6. I like part when jay  was saying they kept the rape vibe low. Emma Watson overheard the  talking about it and beats the crap Seth with the ax   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwIoRVU1Qjs

  7. That list is fucking gnarly OP.

    I'd add a few more off the top of my head;

    - Looper
    - 2001: A Space Odyssey
    - The Cabin in the Woods
    - Chronicle
    - Dead Alive (known as Braindead in the UK) (One of Peter Jackson's first films)
    - Eraserhead
    - Flash Gordon
    - From Dusk Till Dawn
    - Little Shop of Horrors
    - Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
    - Team America: World Police

  9. Gracias brotha, yours is most dope as well haha! I've seen almost all of those except Dead Alive, Waking Life, and I swear I'm still like the only person I know who hasn't seen Cabin in the Woods but all of those sound amazing homie haha!

If you're a gorehound, check out Dead Alive. It's one of Peter Jackson's earlier movies before his Lord of the Rings fame, and it's famous for being one of the most goriest movies ever made (but it's so excessive to the point it's funny, if that makes sense?) I love it and consider it a cult classic lol it's such a great twisted comedy horror splatter film. I still consider this the best zombie movie that has ever or will ever be. Someone prove me wrong.

Waking Life was shot live action, than they used rotoscoping techniques (basically take live action footage and hire several artists to draw over the images, giving a very lucid appearance) for the final product. It's a film that you have to pay close attention to, for as the insane visuals play out in front of you, it's what the characters say that is most important. It's one of those get stoned and contemplate, well, life movies, and I find myself often thinking back to meaningful dialogue from this very film that's applicable in every day life. I just don't want to be an ant, you know?

And, dude... Just do yourself a favor and rent Cabin in the Woods already. I'm sure you know what that one looks like hahaha

  11. Damn Dead Alive looks awesome! My favorite line from the trailer is definitely that Scottish priest, "I kick ass for the Lord!" haha. And Waking Life looks trippy as hell haha, I love complex movies with a meaning too so I'm definitely checkin' those out, it kinda looks like A Scanner Darkly with Keanu Reaves if you've ever seen that. And I know, man, I've been hearing so many good things about Cabin in the Woods I just never saw it when it came out and then just never got around to it I guess. Thanks for the suggestions though, homie!

  12. ^ Memento is also a great one. So is Donnie Darko now that I think of it.

Dead Alive is amazing, hopefully you'll like it! "I kick ass for the lord" is one of the BEST lines I've ever heard, and trust me when I say this... When you're watching the movie and that scene comes up, it will be BAD ASS. xD

A Scanner Darkly was rotoscopped as well, good catch! Both are great movies (although pretttttty different) so at least you know what to expect animation wise now.

I snuck into a movie theater and only got to see the last few minutes of Cabin in the Woods... It intrigued me so damn much I just HAD to go and watch the rest to see how it leads to THAT ending.... I was not disappointed at all!

  13. Groundhog day

When I saw 1408 I thought of that room as his own personal hell, since he cursed god for taking his daughter and all. But yeah it really creeped me out. If you want a real trip sober or high watch the signal.
