hey there i was just wondering what your opinions are on this setup i am thinking of buying. i don't really care for ridiculous worked pieces that break the bank i just wanted something highly functional and affordable. after some searching i came across something i felt fit the bill perfectly. i plan to pair what i buy with a highly educated dualiti nail just in case that matters. so below is what i found, it's an idab tripod rig with a mirco circ diffy and it only cost $85 right now with a current sale. i'm not to familiar with "idab" and was just hoping for some feedback on this piece and or brand. thanks ahead of time and stay dabbing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_-_b8_hArY

Very nice for the price and i am also a fan of 14mm rugs better just because my domeless fits a bit snugger

I hope you didnt buy it yet... because you should know that's china glass. You can get the same rig for $30 on DHgate.com Some of the sellers are pretty good, but i would avoid others. It seems pretty obvious which ones to avoid. It looks really weird at first until you get into one of the sellers stores, its buying straight from china so it's weird. But you'll see that almost all of the cheap pipes you could buy in online stores here can be bought there for less. It's almost all china glass in online headshops here, and why not buy from the source, know what im sayin? But i really don't recommend this route. I'm only telling you because your looking at the same thing you can get there anyway. Buy from somewhere reputable like ALT or GC. But if i was looking for an on the go rig, that would be my first choice. I've been thinking about getting one too. I like 18 mm the most, the 14 mm head is too small and everything boils over the sides. My head has a deep dish too.
That's actually not china glass. All of Dab Lab's stock is blown and manufactured within the US. I already decided on another rig but that's not to say I was very close to getting one, but the 18mm is what kept me away.
Understood. But IDAB is a reputable glass brand (To my knowledge at least) so I didn't necessarily worry about the quality/thickness glass. I just eventually said no because one 18mm joint, and two I see a rig like so breaking easily knowing myself.
I would be worried about one of those legs breaking off then the rig not being able to stand straight. I went through a rig or two before I realized the base of a rig is one of the most important parts for long term use. Get a 14mm imo but thats just preference. I dont buy anything in 18mm.
