Everyone involved should be congratulated that they decided the matter in a civilized way instead of the typically bloody approach that most separatist movements employ as they go about trying to achieve their goal..
I didn't really have a strong opinion, other than an optimism for Scotland's future and a disgust at Cameron's hen-mother tactics, but I am glad to see them stay. I would have been more glad for them if they'd gone yes. Regardless of political indepence, Scotland will always be uniquely Scotland. With such a close vote, I think we can anticipate a more successful ballot in the future.
