The First Human? (+Trippy Questions)

  1. So atheists and other religions all have conflicting ideas on how we a species came to be. Athiest claim we are made up from cosmic dust and evolved overtime to what we are now. Christians would believe in the Adam And Eve story and how god put us here.
I actually really don't believe that a God placed us here, nor do I think this universe or earth was made for us to live on. I believe that the earth wasn't made for us, we were made for the earth. Christians will say that this earth and everything is too perfect, too crazy for it to just be chance that we perfectly survive here, but what else grows in the most horrid conditions WE can think of? Mold, viruses, bacteria. "Life" can grow out of almost anything on this earth. Even moon and mars I've heard! So I believe this earth was made and everything fell into place like this and somehow we just grew from the earth.
But it's hard to think, did what started life altogether? Maybe we did evolve from monkeys, but where'd the monkeys come from? What really is life? Why is a plant considered life if it doesn't have a brain or a heart?
We've all heard people joke, "what is life?" But really, what the fuck is life?

  2. Head to YouTube and look up "There Was No First Human". Decent, quick video on why there was no first human.

As for where monkeys/apes came from, they evolved from smaller primates, which evolved from rodents, that evolved from reptiles, who evolved from amphibians, who evolved from amphibious fish, and they evolved from fish, fish that evolved from invertebrates, who evolved from multicellular life, that evolved from single celled organisms. Those single celled organisms, while we don't know the specifics of how, came into existence. Since we don't know how exactly, people will fill the gaps of knowledge with God or consciousness.. but at least we will always have people working towards the actual answer.

People don't realize that there could be a thousand different factors that need to take place before abiogenesis alone can even happen. There could be one key ingredient that is formed in the depths of outer space, even outside of galaxies, that needs to randomly find its way in to the right conditions.. While I don't think that's the case, its a possibility.

  4. You're right in the sense that we are products of our environment. The world isn't perfect for us, we are perfect for the world. (On some of the earth's surfaces at some times).

Though I would correct you on one point, we didn't evolve from monkeys in the strictest sense. We share a common ancestor with apes, chimpanzees etc.

  5. Hue of Man is tan, not albino. We live around the Sun, near our moon, bound to the pull between known as gravity.

    And we have phones.

  6. Microorganisms.

  7. It's mind boggling to think about, but always entertaining.

I think we're using humans as a vessel or is it vassal?

  8. A vassal is someone whose sworn fealty to a Lord.

  9. Atheism is the exact opposite of religion.  Stop calling it a religion.
