What is life? I've been thinking about life a lot lately. Just in general. From plant life, to extraterrestrial. The way things live and what is the "norm" to them. If you think about our species alone, there are so many different kinds of people with different expectations from "life" and our power in society varies so greatly on a person to person basis, it's really quite complex what we have going. On the other hand, there is the common house pet. Take a dog for example. A dog walks around the house.. Just kinda, assuming you know.. these "people".. this strange hierarchy of species is dominant over them and holds all power. And what do dogs know? They don't understand the concept of getting old and dying.. we don't even fully understand the aftermath of dying. Now lets thing of a common house fly or fruit fly, whose life typically spans 1-28 days.. What is their purpose. Do they express and endure the same hardships or have similar physical encounters with other flies as we humans do? We're all born, we all die. Our population is increasing 200,000 people a day and we are already running into problems with maintaining our resources. So back to my original question, what is life? It's purpose? (BTW) Not fucking suicidal hahaha, just been thinking a lot lately.
