Crosbys Fancy Molasses

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Hemp growp, Sep 19, 2014.

  1. I have here some of a known canadien molasses brand called crosbys fancy molasses I did a little research on it and found that it's unsulphered, Is there sulphur or sulphites in molasses?
Crosby Molasses Company Limited does not add sulfur or any if its derivatives to any molasses products. However, Blackstrap and Cooking molasses do contain small amounts of sulfites which occur naturally.. So I was wondering can I use this on my plant and mix it with Schultz 8-14-9, my plant has been flowering for approx 3-4 weeks, here is a nutrition fact of this molasses.. Opinions on this and can I mix the Molasses with the Schultz fert or will it do more harm than good? Thank you✌️ ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1411085140.854072.jpg

You want cooking rather than fancy, but fancy will do.
The sulfur that "unsulfered" refers to is to a curing process of not quite rippened cane, speeding it along making it very unorganic and not preferred by marijuana plants every where =)

I used blackstrap molasses unsunlfered my last run and noticed my flowers were more slightly more dense. Plan on using it again. I used it the last 2-3 weeks before I cut em. I cant remember what measurement I used. I want to say 5-10ml per gallon but I'm not sure. Good stuff and cheap. I see no reason why not besides maybe a bug infection that needs remedied. To answer your question I would use it once you decide to cut off your nutrients. The last heavy feeding I did was the first time I used my molasses. I think watered with molasses only for a week, flush, waited another week with no water, cut....
