This thread is for anyone who enjoys (or not) the EA series NHL for both XBox and PS. I'm sorry if there is another thread already, I am stoned and did not see one while quickly scrolling through here. First of all, I am a huge hockey fan, since I was born with a stick in my hand and skates on. I remember always being mesmerized watching the game on TV growing up. I have been playing since I was two, which led me to a pretty successful lifestyle and career in hockey. I played Junior hockey when I turned 16 and played for 4 seasons, unfortunately my final year in Juniors during training camp I got in a serious accident and then some more serious health complications which led me to lose over 50 pounds later in the year, and was unable to finish. Because of that, my love for the EA game has grew even more, however I feel extremely let down by them this year, does anyone feel the same? Here is why: Alright, so it's been out for over a week plus 5 days earlier if you had EA Access. I was top 10 in HUT on XBox One until a few days ago, Fifa 15 demo has my attention. I just can't stand this game, after waiting a year for a next gen hockey game, I was kind of expecting ALL of the below to be included and more to blow our socks off. after all they did spend 20 years getting the series to where its at now, and up until this year I have had no problems. It seems EA said a big fuck you to the majority of the fans, and only included a game mode that you must spend money on to excel. 1/4 of the game available in the market now! -No EASHL -No OTP -No NHL 94 Mode -There are no offline seasons in HUT -There are no tournaments in HUT -You cannot play a friend in HUT -No Winter Classic -No GM Connected -No Shootout -No Live the Life -No be a CHL Pro -No be a NHL Pro -Being drafted is now just a random assignment to a team, no way to influence when you are drafted -You cannot draft players in Be A GM Mode -No fantasy draft in Be A GM Mode -No be a Legend Mode -No Season Mode -No Tournament Mode -No Playoff Mode -No Battle For The Cup -No Creation Zone -No Edit Team -No Edit Player -No Customize AI -No Build Your AI (IMO the worst, since the AI is FUCKING RETARDED) -No Create A Play -No Custom Music -No simming between shifts in Be A Pro Mode -No Custom Cameras -No Mobile Companion App for HUT -No HUT Action Tracker -No All-Star game in various modes (Be a Pro, Be a GM) -No trade deadline action in Be A GM mod I was extremely let down this year, they just really missed the mark on this one since my expectations were always met in previous editions for the most part. The commentary is great, gameplay is "alright", i don't like the fact there are no backhand dangles and knocking someone off the puck is a little too easy which makes for great games against people who would rather score glitch goals than cycle the puck down low and play a real hockey game.
